Just textbook hitting from Sinner. It's amazing to watch. You have to be really solid from the back to throw his game off. If not, you're toast!

I think he will have difficulty with Alcaraz and Thiem’s (when Thiem recovers) net play. And both have forehands just as big as Sinner’s. Thiem’s is actually bigger.

I don't think he has enough variety in his game to be dangerous to every single player. He's very similar to Zverev, a simple baseline hard hitter but with an inferior service. I'm aware Zverev will someday become #1, but can you imagine that happening if his service was less good? Top 5 is enough of a challenge for him in my opinion.

@@boaconstrictor4302 you forget that Sinner is 20. He has been broken some precocity records. And his level is pretty similar that Zverev at that age, but mentally he is superior. Zverev is not number 1 or 3, because he can’t do it well in GS, Jannik is doing better. Off course he has a lot to improve, first of all Serve, but he is just trying, he has change his serve motion like three times in the last year. And his net game, which hi is been improving a lot since this year

Sinner has more ´gatekeeper vibes´ as opposed to multi-slam winner. His last four Major defeats gave off just one set, and even though none of these are terrible defeats, the combined 0-9 doesn't bode well for future efforts against top players. Expect some Masters and consistent second week slam runs, but not ascension to no. 1 or any general dominance. It´s going to be all Alcaraz and Auger-Aliassime from now on, Sinner will be the ´Next-Gen Berdych´.

so far in 4 matches (13 sets played!) only 107 unforcies. that's 8.23 unforcies per set. his opponents _not_ playing as cleanly/consistently match after match is the key why he advances deep and the others doht. karatsev's average was 18.3. imho a very good performance would be 3-5 unforcies per set. 6-8 good, 9-11 average, 12-15 poor, 16-19 bad, 20+ horrible.
