Just like those Swamis that taught the one guy how to fully push swords through his body without damaging any organs, the ice pick thing is exactly the same. Just on a smaller scale. And yes, the whole point of the sword practice that was shown here is that it was completely circumventing any vital organs. Definitely not going through them, or even so much as nicking them. That’s probably how he died in the first place. It’s a process of slowly, very slowly, inserting a certain gauged, pointed object through your skin, leaving it there, pulling it out and repeating. Just like when people gauge their ears. You don’t go from an 18g to a half inch. This would eventually create what’s called a “fistula tube” made of scar tissue that if you actually follow through and get to the other end during this process, you would be able to insert and route the entire object through the tissue while barely spilling a drop of blood. So it’s not just some pain endurance thing where you straight up shove a pick through your arm and hope for the best. It would probably take a year of prep to be able to properly do that, while sleeping with a ice pick half inserted into your bicep. It’s definitely not magic, but it’s something alright. A lot of dedication for sure.

I like that about you too Joe - you're not a social 'influenza' either - you're never given up to 'social influenzing' - fab!
