Yes he is an Aussie. He was made "famous" for his role as a vampire detective in a series called Moonlight - worth the watch and he also played the male lead against Jennifer Lopez in the movie The Back-up Plan which is really very sweet - romantic comedy. Most guys I suppose don't watch them but there is a lot of humor and of course J-Lo lol. Another memorable series is his role as Will Bryant in The incredible journey of Mary Bryant and also Oyster Farmer :)
