Honestly, I used to be like you. I hated bat flips. Particularly at the beginning of this movement, bc I thought Bautista was trash. But baseball is hard. If you hit a bomb pump that shit. You’ll never know when your career might end. If you do good, be happy.

I missed the old Yankees. We currently have one of the most sensational hitter in generations which is Aaron Judge, but it feels like outside of Juan Soto and occasionally Stanton and Verdugo, the rest can be ignored by the opposing pitcher. Even a few years after the 2009 roster, we would still have Jeter, Arod, Texeira, Cano, Swisher, Granderson,... even Brett Gardner and Russell Martin could come up clutch.

I don't give a fuck about steroids in baseball. I am honest enough to admit that the best baseball I ever saw was during the steroid era and I've done enough research on it to know that pretty much every top player in the 90s was on them. Look at the Mitchell report and that's just the people that got caught. That is the best baseball we have ever seen and I thank them for taking the steroids and making my childhood amazing because baseball was never as good as it was before and has not been as good after. I would serve the steroids up on a silver platter to have it be that entertaining again

In case you missed it. At 10:53 everyone is wearing 42 in honor of Jackie Robinson. Mariano Riviera was the last to wear that number in the major leagues. When Mariano retired it was the last moment it was used as Mariano walked off the mound when captain Jeter and Andy Pettite came to the mound to take him out of the game.
