Alex's Mobs is one of my favorite mods out there at the moment and I already did a review on my other channel but that was a while ago so wanted to improve it. There will be more parts coming soon and I will be doing all updates of the mod up until the most recent one (1.20) as I know a new update is due to be released soon which I will do a seperate video on and any future updates too so stay tuned!!

Game info:
Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang. In Minecraft, players explore a blocky, procedurally-generated 3D world with infinite terrain, and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures or earthworks. Depending on game mode, players can fight computer-controlled "mobs", as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Game modes include a survival mode, in which players must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, and a creative mode, where players have unlimited resources. Bears can drop Bear Dust when killed but It's drop rate Is 1% It's a joke item and makes multiple meme sounds

Also, on April 1st, Bears turn into Freddy Fazbear, then simulates a power outage and jumpscare you with the normal Freddy jumpscare but it's the bear with static, and the death message is "was that the bite of '87?"

I wish the hummingbird was almost true to the real animal, they are very aggressive when bothered and will chase anything that annoyed it. They are like the goose in miniature form or a wasp.

Actually, hummingbirds get somewhat nervous around humans. They do get aggressive around bees though, that, IS true.

Hummingbirds are a Hummingbird’s worst enemy. Highly territorial. Hilariously so. Sure, they’re skittish around people. But they are FEROCIOUS little ‘copters.

One thing I wish they did in this mod is maybe add more drops because some mobs don't drop anything. Grizzly bear meat for example. Elephant meat and leather maybe

@@necroavirus It just my opinion but I prefer it this way. Polar bears don't drop polar bear meat when killed, same goes for other vanilla mobs like horses, turtle, wolf, cat, fox etc. This is for the "meat dropping" part, for the dropping leather and other materials part I agree with you

Incase anyone is confused, on the older version of the mod, some of the elephants were tuskless, while others had tusks. Which is why you hear tusked and non-tusked in the video. however in the updated version all elephants have tusks, and the ones with short tusks are tamable. The huge mammoth-tusked elephants are the OP ones, that are only tamable as a calf. (The big tusker ones can be used as war elephants basically)

@@bigpig2709 Honestly with how easy it is to break vanilla Minecraft and make yourself overpowered, this mod wouldn't ruin anything. The mod instead would make the game far more lively and add alot of fun and useful features.

@@bigpig2709 as if having an army of bees or wolves or even God tier armor don't break Minecraft Mojang's been lacking he's right we barely get any mobs and we get stuff that no one asks for like more skin packs and tbh who tf even buys skins when you can get a custom one or the report chat update which is useless

I remember playing a modpack with this, dungeons, and extra enchantments installed. For context, I was going through one with boots that gave nearby mobs the glowing effect when I stood still. I was minding my own business, going through the dungeon, when I hear a horrible sound so I stand still.. next thing I know a crimson mosquito is directly in my vision and when I go into F5 I see about 20 of them in the next few rooms and the floor below me had a massive pit of cave centipedes that, when I made a 1 block hole to poor lava on them, they swam through the lava and about 5 came through the hole to attack me. After that I decided to just keep the boots in my inventory the entire time and went into creative/spectator mode to replace every spawner with different, less creepy mobs.

Camels: I can carry items and I'm tall enough to avoid mobs. Horses: I am speed Bears: I have the most power. Elephants combining all three into one: Hold my acacia leaves

@@Lincolnium_ thanks, I use premier pro. I find it’s the easiest to use but the I hardly used many effects in this video as it all done when I record so this can be edited on most editing softwares :)

Absolutely adore how expansive this mob is! I learn something new every time I watch stuff on this. I’m utterly in love with the combo of Alex’s Mobs and Alex’s Delight (farmer’s delight compatibility and unique food) All of them are not just lovely to see in the wild, adding more ambience, they also have special drops or abilities so there’s not simply eye-candy. Some animal mobs just add tons of mobs but they just drop vanilla items, or only a few have unique aspects. Raccoons and Platypus are my favorite. Adorable

You did sadly miss sone Easter eggs. You forgot that the Sunbird can circle around active beacons to give the beacon that effect. You also forgot Bear dust that plays meme sounds, cockroaces will dance to any music, the grizzly bear Freddy Easter egg on April Fools Day, a seal can give you a unique music disk, and when you give a raccoon sugar, it will dissolve in the water.

Great showcase! Thanks for putting it together. One small detail I noticed is that you said Donkey Kong and Funky Kong were from Super Mario Bros, but besides the very first Mario arcade game from the 80s, Donkey Kong has his own series of games since SNES which are not related to Mario, which is where he and Funky Kong are from. Not a huge deal, just thought you might like to know! They're fun games!

I would download this mod but there are some mobs that just look absolutely terrifying to me. Mainly the weird looking worm based mobs(which is weird since I’m not scared of worms or snakes or caterpillars irl)

Crimson Mosquito (mc mod) and Bloodbug (Fallout 4) are about the same thing, both of em is hostile, both of em sucks blood of the player and spits it back causing damage. and both of em can drop their blood sacks, and both can suck other animals blood. very interesting

i was walking around in the desert in a village, playing crucial 2, which has this mod in it. i was suddenly attacked by a soul vulture and even got the advancement for encountering one (it said in the soul sand valleys in the nether) but i was in the overworld, in the desert. How did that happen?

The Elephant has 2 Versions on Alex's Mobs. The 1th Version is that the Short Tusked can't be tamed unless it's a Calf. There's also a second Elephant with no Tusk, which means it's a Female which can be tamed. The Calf has no tusk, although it can grow into a Tusked One. There's also no Longer Tusked Elephant The Hammerhead Shark has 2 Versions. The Short Body and the Long Body The Gorilla has 2 Versions too. The First Alex's Mobs, The Silverback Gorilla just looks as the same as the Regular Cross River Gorilla (Or maybe a Western Lowland Gorilla?). The new Version is like more for a Cross River Gorilla and a Silverback Gorilla versions
