🥴🥴 I doubt just giving how society currently is right now, that both sides of the political spectrum will stop being sensitive as hell. The left is trying to pull society into a very, very far left direction while the right is trying to pull us in a far right direction and there are already countless examples of this happening in governments across the globe. If you go against either side or push back against what they're doing, they'll label you sensitive or any other buzz word they can think of while acting extremely sensitive themselves. It's like people completely forget that metal, punk, hardcore, etc. were all about saying "fuck the man". Now they're suddenly falling in line with the woke mobs in which is being pushed by who?? You guessed it... the MAN. Metal has been infiltrated just like everything else with this woke garbage.

I would argue that metalheads in general, or people who unironically call themselves metalheads, have always been pretty easily offended. You may be only looking at it from a political or social standpoint, but I can't tell you how many times I've heard opinions coming from "metals" from the start of metal that will be offended if even a new sub genre of metal comes out, metal being the only real genre and something is wrong with you and if you don't like it, prog metal being the most intellectual metal, metalcore isn't metal, deathcore is gay, etc. Metal culture (more specifically metalhead culture) as a whole is pretty ridiculous in that sense, enough to where there is a reason the stereotype exists. And no, I'm not coming at metal. I love it. But the arguments and whining I hear in the community from years past until now is just pathetic. I think the issue stems from some people thinking they're special or more cultured for enjoying it.
