Short notice stuff doesn't happen in boxing because theres 10s of millions involved, a good pay day in the UFC is lucky to be a million, they need to fight a few times a year, unless your a golden child like Connor or Jones. They don't stand in front of him on purpose, the reason cagey fighters stand in front of Sergei is because he throws very accurately and once they taste the power they are stunned. It's the classic of having a game plan until you get punched in the face. The first round or two will be critical if Aspinall wants this fight to go his way. If Sergei can cut off the cage and land early I do not think anyone weathers it.

Have to risk it. Tom is that good that it doesn't matter he'll get that title fight sooner or later. And he's fought guys like this for years so I don't think his gameplan changes for sergi. Bisping did an interview with Tom and put it quite well (especially when you know he won the title on short notice against rockhold) he said don't think of it as you've only got 2 weeks to train this fight think of it as you've been training for this fight for years (something along those lines but you get the point)

Tom will come through some adversity in this fight. Sergei is very very dangerous but Tom's fight IQ is what should get him through this. His fight IQ is leagues ahead of his competition.
