I’d forgotten all about this delightful song until it popped into my head this morning. It took me a while to recall the name, but I eventually did so here I am. :) Hearing it reminds me of simpler times when the darkness of today’s world was still the stuff of movies...

As much as I agree that she deserves more recognition, sometimes it's nicer to have good music less well known. By that, I mean that the radio stations can't overplay it and ruin it XD Still an amazing song, though!

She said in an interview is about being in love with objects, and this song is about a girl being in love with a velvet elvis painting hence 'hold you by the frame, whisper your name' and 'you don't breathe, so you can't leave'

Fixated on this when I was in college (12 years ago) Was obsessed with other genres. This came on a Google chrome ad on the television advert. The memorable thing for me is the beautiful voice / chorus. ❤

Basically, the woman in the song falls in love with a picture of Elvis on some kind of velvet canvas (hold you by your frame) and begins to pleasure herself over it. When her father walks in, (caught us in our special time) and she is sent to a mental asylum (finger paint and circle time)
