I decided to put together in one video all the episodes about my house underground filmed from December to March. Exactly three winter months and almost 3 hours of video. In total, according to my calculations, there were 14 days that I spent alone in the forest.

1:08:07 The wooden plaque that hangs over the entrance: "It's a dugout - not poaching, not terrorist, not Satanic, not *insert any frightening word*. This dugout is used for the development of tourism and outdoor activities. Any traveler who went hiking in our beautiful places can warm up, eat and spend the night here. Take care of nature, other people's work, and feel like at home!"

The construction of the oven sitting on the floor, directly on the ground, to radiate heat through the floor is very clever. Brick construction also distributes and conserves heat more efficiently.

I hope that you know how much all your hard work is noticed. This video is perfect therapy for the person, like myself, with insomnia, and in addition, could never physically achieve such challenging things. It's extrememly rewarding to see someone else accomplish so much and do so much while I so comfortably while away the nighttime hours! Thanks, Alex!

My 5 year old son is very much into nature and camping and super restless little guy. We started watching the first video and he was so fascinated and eventually fell asleep and now on his fourth hour of nap. He hasn’t napped since he was one. I somehow moved on to the next video and almost finished it. We had a lovely afternoon, very relaxing.

One way of maximizing the out door fire is to invest in a cast iron three-legged dutch over or a cast iron flat bottom dutch oven. Great for bread making. Also a cast iron kettle would be great for the small fire inside.

ENJOYMENT + --- Loved watching both videos of the progression. I've built a 4,000 sq ft home with my wife (all ourself) and quite an experioence. However, no way was I as impressed by you and your building this home alone by using the resources on the land and cutting and sizing everything, all by your lonesome. You're an amazing human being and thank you so much for sharing this experience.

Hi Alex, My husband and I really enjoyed watching your winter stay. We don't usually watch the same shows. When I walked into the living I was intrigued and had to seat down and watch . My husband now wants pork chop sandwiches !!

I really enjoyed your new, elongated video. Really appreciate that there is as little background music as possible in order to sustain the unique atmosphere of the cold and mostly quiet winter days and nights in the wilderness. Also, I do like it that you smile every now and then and do not take yourself too serous, like many other outdoor KZfaqr do! Thank you!

Alex Wild Life, This is a beautiful presentation. You have honed your presentation skills ! Each portion flowed seamlessly into the next ; I could not stop watching and listening. The end was Brilliant ! Thank you for making the effort to share your experiences with us so wonderfully. I am so impressed with your cooking portions. BRAVO, SIR ! Blessings, Grace and Peace to you , your family and your team. The background views of the moon through the trees in such total darkness are mesmerizing. Again, Thank you.
