About AleXa:
The daughter of a Korean adoptee, AleXa, also known to fans as Alex Christine, was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A lifelong dancer, AleXa competed in Soompi’s “Rising Legends,” where nearly 1 million fan votes determined her the winner. Shortly after being signed to ZB Label, she beat out thousands of contestant hopefuls and was one of the 96 chosen to participate in Mnet’s “PRODUCE 48,” the most competitive audition show in Korea. In 2019, AleXa made her multilingual K-pop debut with “Bomb,” which received over 10 million views, and hit #7 on Billboard’s “World Digital Song Sales” chart.

She is still a new soloist. She isn't not well known like Sunmi, Hyuna, Chungha, or Somi. But she is doing very well and has a lot of fans. Her label is also a brand new label. She is not doing any Korean shows yet. Her debut was a success. Her music concept is something very little of K-pop artists use. She has great talent and I can tell that later she will grow bigger and bigger to get in a position of popularity as the other soloists and idols. Stan AleXa

considering she didn't already have a huge fanbase during a show like produce 101 like Chungha and Somi (got eliminated early in produce 48) and didn't come from a successful girl group like Sunmi and Hyuna, AleXa has done extremely well and even won an award less than a year after debut.

@@roseee_3324 Shining like a star is always good. But shining like the moon is better. I didn't say groups are bad. But I absolutely respect Alexa for standing alone and still managing everything so perfectly. I also love and respect other soloists. In my opinion it is easy as group to shine rather than shining alone and she really deserves more recognition for her unique work.

And if one member has a bad past your future is 95% destroyed and if a member has a better past you will never get any attention. And in a group their are members who are more preferred. And sometimes you have to work and stay with people whom you don't want.

It's a storyline tho. TBH this type of storyline style concept is better than different concepts every comeback. The fans anticipate new MVs because they are curious of what will happen next. This will give out the addictive impact to the viewers making them wanting to check out of the other songs and wait for the next one. Basically not to give the vibe of one-hit-wonder to the viewers. In my opinion, it's better this way..

She is from a newly formed Entertainment and she had to learn an entirely new language. now tell me which other Soloist had these hurdles. Jessie being a rapper was under JYP one of the big 3, Sunmie first debuted with Wonder girls, gained experience, and then started her solo journey.
