This is the reason why most people prefer live vocals, not only shows her ability and pureness of her voice, we (fans or not) appreciates more the singer and the performance

Exactly! It really annoyed me that people were satisfied with the backing track performance last time. I want to hear her singing and she slayed on the semifinal performance. This is all I wanted!

She didn't slay. It is just the fanbase she created. Her voice seems sort of unstable in the semifinal performance

@@chris_the_heartbeat_lover.1994 believe when I say I am not part of the 'fandom', but did you see that she was swinging around in the air, and dancing energetically, while singing in tune still? Of course her voice wasn't entirely stable - this is what actual live performances sound like!

@@80PercentScottish true.. especially with that kind of dance, its normal to be shaky at some part. I'm just happy she mostly sang live than just rely on the backtrack troughout the whole performance.

She's literally one of the only acts who can dance to intense choreo, a fast-paced song with a rap and sing through all of that! Lest you forget that she was also in the air at the beginning which requires much more core strength than you think. It's absurd how you still expect her vocals to be unshakable amidst all of that. People like us learn to appreciate just how much she was able to do and love the flaws that come with a heartfelt performance. She did great, there can be improvements but it's more than we need

Pretty sure that this still isn't live-live. Her lips don't always sync up with the words and something about it seems off at times. Like at 1:15 she's moving around a lot but you can't hear it in her voice? No matter how good you are, you can't do that and still sound pretty much perfect. To me it sounds prerecorded but included all the breathing and such so it sounds more live. Also at 2:46, when she falls, you can hear her breathe but that doesn't sound like the kind of breathe you'd make when you're falling backwards.

@@WoutJanWesterhof It depends, it is doable, phrasing is a a key factor and the phrasing matches the dance moves, so it is possible to do it with enough stamina and training

AleXa really is making both Oklahoma and kpop fans proud. We all know how rigorous the training is to debut as a kpop artist but she did all that BY HERSELF and is the only contestant dancing and singing simultaneously too (with little to no backing track!) 🤯

I'm a dnacer an I tried several times "singing " while I'm dancing and like 5 seconds after I started singing I cannot breath...like Alexa my goodness I pray her every day before I go to bed

I love how everyone in ZBlabel was supporting her even if they were in korea ❤❤ i swear she couldn't debut in other company that wasn't them, she's like a daugther to them and they haven't give up on her even if she's not a big famous soloist like most companies do with their artists. Oh my God, now she was actually audible while singing unlike during Heat 1 and....she can actually do it! I couldn't imagine, she would've been able to top her last performance, but that is it. Amazing!

So pleased that AleXa is able to show the world what us A.I Troopers already knew she can do. if there is one word that defines alexa it is performer, as a eurovision fan i have never seen a eurovision performance as alexa, on top of that the song is exciting as this performance alexa may not earn asc but after asc it will undoubtedly earn more recognition!

I have one thing to say. WOW😱Wonderland is a very difficult song to perform. What i mean is that you have to sing the lyrics fast. When i try to sing it I can't breath honestly.She had the rap part that is also fast and the choreography and I'm surprised that she managed to do the high note in the end.She is a PROFESSIONAL. I'm 100% sure that she will win😍😍😍

I'm happy that the vocals are live now. Hopefully the people that thought we could hear her live vocals clearly in the previous performance track realize they were wrong now xd I think some backing vocalists would be nice though. Backing vocalists are normal to have Eurovision too and feel less like "cheating" then backing track, while also giving the performance a stronger sound.

@@80PercentScottish People were so defensive because they know how kpop is/work, it's hella common over there to actually sing live but with a loud ass backing track like the one she used before because companies now prefer to focus on performance instead of only singing, they want perfection and choreographies have gotten waaaaaaay heavier and difficult, companies and music networks there also resort to heavy vocal editing to make everything smooth and perfect. As someone who has been in kpop hell since 2011, i've gradually seen companies forcing their artist to sing with louder backing tracks or flat out forbid them to sing live so they focus on giving an excellent dancing performance.

@@80PercentScottish A perfect example of my previous comment, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eL2heLmcqN2app8.html this is an old group that had a reunion and performed, it's live but you can't really hear anything except for the adlibs and when the main vocalist is about to hit the climax high note, you can see her fighting for her life to be heard above the backtrack, and it's only noticeable cuz her run wasn't perfect and she was screaming her lungs out. if you extract the audio, you can hear the mic feedback but it's so low it's barely there

The only reason people say Kpop artists cant sing live is because its too good for them to believe it. The haven't even seen any performance, they just assume it. Here is the proof of what an well trained artist can do.

Alexa has to win this and perform on Eurovision!! She deserves it because the whole performance is such an eye catcher. It’s like candy for the eyes. I don’t want to drag other participants down but their performances are not special…. With Alexa I guess Europe will go crazy too!! Imagine the whole stage ~ damn

I didn't support her after her first performance because her vocals were inaudible over the backing track. Now, she has won me over. Great singer even with all the choreography.

kpop 가수들의 라이브 공연에 의문을 가지시는 분들이 계시는군요. 립싱크 문제가 불거진 2000년대 초에 한국의 모든 방송에서 립싱크는 법으로 금지됐습니다. 대부분의 가수와 기획사가 반대했지만 실행했습니다. 그래서 2000년 이전의 가수들은 일반인보다 재능이 있으면 됐지만, 그 이후에는 일반인들에게는 불가능한 것을 해내야 kpop가수가 될 수 있었습니다. 가혹한 훈련에 폐가 망가져 가수의 꿈을 접어야 했던 사람도 있었습니다. 불행한 시행착오를 거쳐 현재는 각 기획사의 훈련 과정이 완성됐습니다. 그런 과정을 거쳐 2000년대 중반에 라이브에서 춤을 추며 노래가 가능한 가수들이 등장하기 시작했습니다. kpop의 제 2의 변혁기였습니다. 물론 아직 완성되지 못한 가수들이 데뷔 하기도 합니다. 그러나 데뷔로 훈련이 마무리 되는 것은 아닙니다. 가수활동 중에도 지속적으로 훈련합니다. 이것이 다른 가수들과 kpop 가수의 차이입니다. 안무의 어려움의 정도는 가수들의 춤이나 노래 실력이 아니라 체력이 결정합니다. 그런 점에서 이 공연은 AleXa라는 가수가 엄청난 에너지를 가지고 있음을 보여줍니다. kpop의 차이점은 그래서 다양한 장르의 노래를 섞어 가수가 숨을 쉬고 심장을 안정시킬 여유 공간을 만들어 내야 합니다. 그래서 그룹들이 많죠. 한 가수가 노래하면 다른 가수는 쉬는 겁니다. 그런데 AleXa는 혼자 하는군요. 폐활량과 체력이 굉장합니다. 그렇지만, 긴 공연을 위해서는 느린 음악도 필요합니다. 다음 번 노래는 안무도 거의 없고 느린 노래였으면 합니다.

무슨 소리 지금도 방송국에선 립싱크하고 있는데요 무슨 법으로 금지해요 그런법이 통과되는걸 본적도없어여 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 법으로 금지된게 아니라 KBS 뮤직뱅크의 원래 이름 가요톱10일때 우측 상단에 립싱크 표시를 했었던적이 잠깐 있었습니다 그것뿐입니다 립싱크가 법으로 금지됬으면 지금까지 우리나라 아이돌 90%가 법을 위반한 겁니다 ㅋㅋㅋ

@@jino78 아. 그렇군요. 김대중 노무현 대통령 시절 관련 법안에 관해서 그리고 정책에 관해서 시민 대표로 토론했고, 찬성한 입장에서 말씀드렸습니다. 그 뒤에 또 개정됐나 보군요.

@@user-ix4dj8tx5z 애초에 그런걸 법으로 한적이 없었어여 다만 사회적으로 가수들이 너무 무분별하게 립싱크 한다는 비판이 많아지자 당시 가요톱10일때 잠깐 우측 상단에 립싱크 표시했었던거에요 아무리 체력이 좋다한들 결렬한 춤추면서 일정한 수준의 노래는 불가능합니다 만약 하더라도 못들어줄 정도의 숨쉬는 소리가 겹칠겁니다 철인3종경기 우승자의 체력이라도 불가능합니다 아이돌 노래 말고 진짜 연주까지 라이브하는 가수들 라이브 들어보세요 그러면 TV에 나오는 아이돌보면 저게 라이브인지 립싱크인지 그냥 단번에 압니다

Also I'd highly suggest if you think she's not singing live, go listen to the original and then come back. She's a LOT more stable in the recorded version, but imo the live vocals give this song so much more power :)

If people still don’t think it’s live you can tell and when she bends backwards in the second chorus you couldn’t hear her but she came back up with her vocal. Also her high note. THAT LASTED WAY LONGER than the original on Spotify. All her live versions on asc have this elongated high note. Not enough proof just search AleXa MR removed. She is talented and I hope she wins

Yes, there was an MR, yes there was tuning, but you could clearly hear her vocals. So much respect to her for that and that choreo :)
