The song is a tug of war between the worldly desires and the higher desires going on in a person’s mind. The worldly desires are represented by a woman’s beauty that he is infatuated with. The higher thoughts remind him of the need to let go of the physical desires to be free. So, the song talks about the inner conflict in people about the choices they make....The lyrics and song visuals suggest that the beautiful woman represents the cultural aspects that have encroached into the practice of Buddhism and the loss of it essential meaning. I think this point is applicable to all religions, where people have ended up raising superficial cultural/historical things above the important and essential things in a religion (hence why we have so many conflicts/problems in this world, but I digress!). So the song isn't about an infatuation with a woman, in reality he is rather making a social commentary on Sri Lanka and reminding them not to lose sight of the most important thing that Buddha taught.

This song explain what we need to do to achive true consolation according to buddism. It is not worship someone, pray and etc. We need to see the truth of us by our own minds. Simply can see the truth with meditation. Then, when you realized the true nature of you and world, automatically you will go with the path and achive nirwana. Nirvana is not go from one life to other life. It is the your spiritual nature when you stop that above life chain. We call that chain of life as sansara. So, the nature of the sansara is not you go from one place to another place. This is the nature of your mind. The mind is always born with your last mind. It is changing very fast. So, people cannot see the change. So, they think, there is a person call me or soul. But, there is not a person, it is only a mechenism. So, the things what you face in this moment is result of your mind in last moment. You cannot see this from your out side. Because, there is not an out side. All the out side is a result of your mind. So, the life in the hell or hevan is not you go there. Your mind shows you hell or hevan according to your past mind. There is no one can see a people or outside world. Because, there is not a outside world. It is the magic of your mind. If you stop the mind you will stop your sansara. This is the way to say good bay for all sufferings. So, you cannot stop see outside. Because, it is a result of your past. But, if you stop every feelings in present by stop catching them your future will be lost. Therefore you will not have any suffering in future. On the other hand, there is no person call you and me. It is a lie of your mind. This cannot teach with words. You need to realized it and see it. The words of book is not buddhism. There is not a language to explain buddhism. Language do that show the way to buddhism. Therefore, no buddhism in the book but practice. You can see this process by meditation. Then, you can stop the process of sansara and achive nirwana. Gods also people like us who are like suffering like us. You also can be a god according to the nature of your mind. But, no consolation for or with god also.They also try to break this chain. You are the true saviour of yourself. You need to follow the dharma & stop the suffering. Dharma cannot stop the suffer but it can guide us to that nature.
