Jesus Christ I spent like an hour just to figure out how to have my lights turn on and off at a certain time.

About the 4 hours wait time: remember that you can add actions as many as you want. So, I wanted my lights turned on for 6 hours, so I added another 2 hours of wait option

I understand that I can make a routine to put a light on at sunset, but how can I make the routine to turn off the light at sunrise? If I use scheduling, it gives me only 4 hours which is not enough, since I would need for example from 7pm to 6am which is 11 hours. is it possible to choose sunset and sunrise? That would be perfect for me.

Great video but, what can I do to keep these lights on for more than 4 hours. I want them to come on at Sunset and stay on until midnight which at this time of year is 5.5 hours. I wonder if you know of any apps that will do this?

Thanks for the video. I have set routine for my outdoors lights to go on at sunset and a routine to go off at sunrise. The issue I’m having is that lights go on at sunset but sometime in the middle of the night the outdoor light are off. I then turn them back on and then they’ll go off at sunrise. I can’t figure out why it will not stay on until sunrise. Any suggestions? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you

I set to routines to cut my porch light on with one routine at 8:15pm and another routine to cut it off at 7 am. That way there isn’t the 4 hr only window

I can’t seem to find a power off timer for my echo show 8 because I like to listen to music on it but if I forget to power it off I don’t want it running the whole night?

Any idea when Amazon is going to allow date ranges when setting timers? Like Dec 1st through Dec 31. Or, only on Oct 31st.
