The wonderful Alexander Campbell, Principal of the Royal Ballet, performing these roles on the stage! He has such a sense control with a gentle grace and elegance but at the same time, such strength and power in his movement! His technique is exquisite and the way he moves is like watching the music coming alive! Each role he takes on, he is just exemplary! Amazing!

I agree, Alexander's dancing is effortless and elegant, with that superb technique masking his strength. There's nothing overdone in his musicality and artistry, it's perfect. What a fabulous partner to dance with!.😊

Akane is absolutely divine and make a great pairing. Hes great at drama without being over dramatic. Absolutely natural. I will miss him when he starts his new at rada. Her balance on don Quixote is incredible. Extraordinary human beings.

As far as I'm concerned, Alexander has the best HANDS in the business - elegant, and simply expressive. He is always a pleasure to watch. His opening solo in "Dances at a Gathering" is one of the most sublime ballet videos I've ever seen. Sad to hear that he is transitioning out of performing into a new position - wish I'd had the opportunity to see him dance in person.

His last performance with the Royal Ballet on 8 March then he becomes Artistic Director of the RAD.
