Hi. I am Dr. Alexander Bautista. I am an anesthesiologist and a pain medicine physician by profession. I like doing pain medicine because I feel like I am helping a lot of people to get back their lives, the one that they've lost. I was able to inspire other physician as well to do the same. That's why I love doing this job.
So everybody can see me. Everybody has pain one form or the other. It can be somebody who has sprained their ankle and needs some help. Somebody had chronic low back pain, somebody who had surgery and had persistent pain. Basically, the service that we provided extends from the very young and the very old. As long as you need anything about pain, we're here to help.
Oftentimes, there's a referral from your primary care physician or your surgeons for you to be seen by us, but regardless, we're here to help. The first part of the process is knowing who you are, why you're there. How can we help you? Knowing about your background, your family, and how you respond to pain is basically the first thing that we need to see. And then after that, we will formulate a pain management plan curtailed to your needs, and hopefully we can help you. If not, we will continue searching for the cure or the help that you need until you're satisfied.
I'm originally from the Philippines, a very tropical country. I was born and raised there. Typical to any other foreigner who comes to the US, I came here to search for greener pasture, and I found it and I loved it. I love helping people. I love that you are gratified by seeing your patients do well and people respect you. I'm a family man. I have three kids and four dogs. That in itself is a lot of things to take care of, but I love cooking. I love trying different types of food, and I love cooking for people.
