Sarah Burton is great designer and underrated. All dress are strong and elegant. The cutting is beyond excellent! Modern and innovative. Great collection. Bravo!

So many great references from the original mastermind of this brand. From the spray painted dress onto suits, the Highland rape torn dresses, Widows of Culloden poof dress silhouette, and the Debra Harry punk references from his days at Givenchy. Was great to see Guinevere Van Seenus and see Tanya Churbanova’s face make it to this collection.

What a fabulous collection! It’s so nice to see what looks to me to be wearable haute couture! Bravo!

Long Live Sarah Burton! I loved 🥰 the collection! Out of the shadows of Alexander McQueen who created breathtakingly beautiful clothes - Roses 🌹 with thorns and all - Sarah Burton emerges with impeccably immaculate clothes! Roses with all thorns clipped. This show is minimalist perfection and perfect tailoring! Restrained ruffles of fabric and splashes of amazing colouring! I loved the shoes! Sarah Burton always had great taste! Love it! Real clothes real women would die to wear ! Today! Can’t praise this show enough!

That zippered dress is a great investment piece! A very versatile piece that you can wear on multiple occasions in multiple ways!

One thing is pretty evident at Maison McQueen, They have a great leader on Sarah Burton and everybody is in the same wavelength. Burton is one of the very few people in this world who was able to spend time, connect and understand Lee McQueen when he was alive, so making Burton the person in charge to continue his legacy in his absence was a no brainer and the best business decision the maison has taken. You got to feel a lot of respect for this lady...................wife, mother, successful & talented designer, businesswoman and with bigger cojones than most..............She had huge shoes to fill, and the comparisons to Lee seemed destined to distract from her craft and hang around like a bad debt you can't pay..................... Fast forward to today and not only has she proved to be an outstanding artisan and savvy business woman, she also has produced sublime collections for the maison archives with aplomb, consistency, elegance and intuition......................She embodies the essence of Lee, obviously not to the same dark, perverse and obscure brilliance because let's face it, Lee McQueen was simply unique , but it is definitely and absolutely her own vision........................ Beautiful collection indeed, filled with plenty of the Maison's codes and signatures ......The deconstructed black tuxedo jacket with the asymmetric puffed sleeve, the spray painted suits, the blazers with slits held by metal clips , all the tailoring of course were outstanding, but in general it was all exquisitely executed .............. My only observation is in regards to the combat boots and the cropped leather jackets. I do know the boots is one of the maison's signature pieces, and that pairing them with corseted puffed skirt dresses is one of their classic silhouettes, but personally I would prefer to see them a little less....The cropped leather jackets were simply unnecessary .........apart from that I want to see a whole lot more……………Don’t You.

I really like Sarah Burton as a designer but it would be better if she had her own label. Because you can see a clear handwriting in their beautiful designs ... that's also a good thing, but not suitable for a label that has always been a total surprise. She just keeps reinterpreting her style. Do you understand what I mean ? Alexander McQuenn simply worked differently, always in his own way, but each time it was totally new and surprising. We already know these heavy leather parts and all the zips and pleats and volume draping from her. Where is the unexpected ??? Nice and I like the collection but I think the label needs a change now!

Неоднозначная коллекция. В целом понравилась. Хотя есть и элементы "вторичности". Готика снова в моде ? Понравились модели на дефиле. Особенно черненькие. И беленькие хороши. Новые лица. Динамика. Но, опять же шоу утяжеляют некоторые модели "лошадиинными" походкам. Как то тяжеловато смотрится. И наряды кажутся вторичными. Вот откуда этот эфект дежавю. В целом модели и то что они демонстрируют, повторю - восхитительны.

I am not in the least excited about this show. I can't even describe what I watched. Some of the pieces looked like they were supposed to be nice or good looking but something botched them. I agree the pieces depicts a strong woman, but to me a strong woman with no taste or .... Then the venue, the "curve walk" kinda interfered with the models' rhythm and didn't allow for proper capturing by the cameras or maybe it's just me. But whatever, let them keep doing what they do. People seemed to like the show 🤷

Missing Alexander..

Well, all the staples of the brand were there, in a most obligatory sense. There were but a few standouts. The very straightforward presentation didn't serve mood of the collection.

for some reason they don't seem happy at all to be there I'm not sure why maybe I am wrong in this however they don't smile or show interest.

Not her best collection.

A couple of things I noticed that were very strange: First, on a really good fashion house, it is rare to see dresses and other garments, including coats, that were flat out wrinkled and in bad need of an iron. And yet I saw many garments that looked as if they were taken straight out of a box and placed on a model. I'm only in the first few minutes of the show, and I've seen at least 4 garments like this. You see it in other fashion houses, but few with this reputation. Why would you let your clothes go out on a runway like this? The lines of the garments did make them look very attractive and I must say that the house has a great sense of style. To the slit over the knee look, the question is why? It makes the collection look sloppy along with the wrinkled fabric. Nice use of color, particularly red. Look at the dress at 4:32. If the fabric is such that it retains wrinkles and looks this sloppy, then try a wrinkle resistant fabric. Pretend you're a customer. If you saw that on a model, you'd say, "If I bought that dress, I would have a horrible time because the fabric would always look wrinkled. How difficult would it be to care for this dress?" Wrinkles don't sell clothing. I love the leather jackets and what appears to be a coat dress. All of the leather fashions look really lux. The entire collection has the look and feel of "power woman" which is very appealing.
