I think it will be Nikulin (C), Ovechkin (A), Kovalchuk (A). But i would rather see Datsyuk as the Captain, think he is well respect both among teammates and opponent players. Also a veteran with alot of experience.

I only see Ovechkin as Captain because he was the first russian to be run with the torch, he was the first Russian to model the new jerseys for the Olympics, Russian management won't hesitate to throw that C on Ovechkins jersey, Datsyuk won't take a letter, he is good as a leader without it in any international level, since Ovechkin may be named Captain and Kovy has his A locked on his chest, best thing to do is rotate that A between Markov and Nikulin, both of these D haven't worn one in 2010.

Whatever happens all I know is Ovechkin and Kovy will be getting a letter on their chest, 2 Candidate are in for wearing the C, Ovechkin and Nikulin. Regardless what happens, as a Canadian rooting for Canada, I hope Ovechkin and the rest of Team Russia has a good Olympics. If Canada loses, Ill be with Russia all the way.
