The Dauer guys found a loop hole in the rules that allowed the super obsolete 962 chassis to compete as a "GT" car (they had a yellow road version made - which I really want to see) and eventually they won, the last Hurrah for the 962 chassis. I believe the Shell livery car finished 3rd (which was at the 2015 Porsche Rennsport Reunion V)

They made a few road going versions. All the body mods for road and race cars where made by Lola
