When X factor was good and wasn't the most stale show in TV history

Alexandra was one of the most deserving winners honestly.

The best top 2 in the history of The X Factor. No one can convince me otherwise.

still watcing in 2012. 2008 one of my favourite years for talent and if you watch her week by week from the start, The best person won. Still love Alexandra Burke even though she is still trying to find her awesome feet. JLS were in the bottom 2 one week unbelieveably

at the time i was soooooo excited to see Alex and JLS perform live. 4 years ago and they are all still the greatest of friends today. Alex performed at Marvin and Rochelles wedding. I loved this joint performance and watch it regularly. Sorry JLS fans, about time some of you grew up and stop saying you hate her!

You know what was interesting about these two? In some seasons of X Factor, only the winners will be successful (Leona Lewis, Little Mix, etc) or the runners-up will enjoy more success (Olly Murs, One Direction etc) but this is the one time where both the winner and runner-up are successful! JLS and Alexandra were the best final 2 of The X Factor ever!

Both these acts are fading. They should form a supergroup together.

Alexandra is my second favourite xfactor winner ever (after Leona)... it’s a shame it doesn’t produce the kind of talent it used to, Simon is too soft now and letting entertainers/potential young money makers for him, rather than their voice. He wonders why X factor isn’t as liked as it was and that’s because it’s more about being a tv show than a talent show.
