Former Olympic figure skater, Alexandra Paul, has died at the age of 31, according to Skate Canada. Paul, who represented Canada at the 2014 Sochi Games, died in a car crash Tuesday after police said a transport truck collided with a line of vehicles that were stopped in a construction zone in Ontario's Melancthon Township.

This is a very tragic death, yet she accomplished so much in 31 years and seemed to live life to the fullest. I hope her husband and son are able to keep her memory alive and cope well with her passing. May she rest in peace.

This is so terrible! Reminds me of Grinkov and Gordeeva, another couple where they were both skate partners and married in real life and one of them died suddenly and far too young. Prayers for her husband and son. She shone so bright.
