Disney costuming seriously needs to hire you. They'd be like, "We spent THAT much? And she did it for HOW much cheaper?" Favorites are Cinderella's and Ariel's

The making of the character design and the sewing are a lot of work. including the multiple versions they need for live action

@@SaheeliRai true, but even still, I would definitely put these single-person made gowns against anything at Disney parks or in the movies. Take Lily James' gown -- that cost about $12,000 per dress, and I doubt Alex had to spend that much on her re-creation. It's all about economizing where you can, you know? 🙂

@@brentage5000 when you pay for film dresses, you pay for years of training and experience, the creative process of conception, the know-how of how each camera type will pick up that fabric, how this fabric moves, the late nights because it's always crunch... So much more work goes into the first creation than into recreation. That's why fast fashion rips creators off instead of offering their own designs. Also, for disney live action, the over the top prices of the dresses contribute to the "can only dream to be a princess" - feel
