From the Yogyakarta's city proper to the airport can get you between 1 to 1.5 hours, plus 1.5 hours to check in, 1.5 hours of flight and 30-45 minutes for your luggages if you have some. The time difference is marginal.

I kind of missed the sellers on the train though ahaha. My family sometimes tell stories of delicious shellfish satay they occasionally bought during train travel when I haven't born yet.

haha yes the toilet was spotless, they literally had an attendant clean it after each use!

you should try, they launch new train car on some of the routes and so far it got good reviews

was it the L seat ? take eksekutif instead. its quite expensive but i'd rather not kill my back. i had dificulty sleeping on the train but i think it was due to it being my first time having a 8+ hour ride on a train
