Way more money goes into manufacturing and research in cycling considering the mediums. In reality some Vietnamese made that show for 10$. Not much of a risk for them.

@@ABucc R&D does require quite a lot of money and time. They will set the price where people will buy it. If you don’t like it, vote with your wallet and don’t buy it.

@sjeffy5137 I never said I didn't like it, I just don't think any shoe is worth almost $400 dollars. Seems like Puma is using the same strategy that Adidas used with the Evo Pro by reeling in people to buy their shoes by making a limited amount. It's a marketing tactic, nothing more, nothing less.

@sjeffy5137 I never said I didn't like it, I just don't think any shoe is worth that much. Seems like Puma is using the same marketing strategy as Adidas did with the Evo Pro by making a limiting amount to reel in customers who get influenced easily. I don't need to vote with my wallet, I just shop sensible.

Nike has actually done that for a lot of their flagship performance shoes and it shows lol. To be fair they were concept images and they said they used ai to make them but they didn’t look like actual shoes they would make. Especially considering Eliud Kipchoges shoe didn’t have a heel!!! lmao

I really wanted to get them, since i am running and my old knee have a bit of difficulty, a bit sad it's not a product produce in higher number, since it also help runner to run the good way (tip of the toe and not on the heel) Please make more, I think you have a great idea and product here for the running community.

How much does it weigh? Energy Return has a point of diminishing return. Weight actually becomes a more important factor then.

So THIS is how you make a shoe with Alphafly "Air" tech w/o getting sued into oblivion by Nike who likely has air pods locked behind so many patents nobody dares risk mimicking. So swap out air pods for foam pods, and to be extra safe, they've sandwiched the foam pods between 2 TPU plates to further differentiate their design from Nike to ensure no patent suit is filed.
