This one has been requested quite a lot - here's my current skincare routine! Just a disclaimer that this is what works for me and may not work for you! It's been a lot of trial and error figuring this out and what my skin likes.
I'll outline the steps here below as I think that's the more important takeaway rather than the brands I use specifically.
Speaking of brands - I've seen la roche posay on some boycott lists so I'll be buying the avene cicablast when that one runs out. There's a bunch of brands I won't be repurchasing from and will be phasing out - if you see some in my content chances are they were purchased awhile ago. Feel free to ask any qs in the comments!
♡♡ MY SKINCARE ROUTINE ♡♡
𑁍 MORNING ROUTINE 𑁍
☼ wash face with micellar water (or just water if I used no actives the night before)
☼ vitamin c serum
☼ milky hydrating toner (if my skin is feeling dry)
☼ light moisturiser
☼ sunscreen
☾ EVENING ROUTINE ☾
☼ wash face with oil or cleansing balm (if I wore makeup or sunscreen that day)
☼ wash face with hydrating cleanser (if skin feels sensitive) or sulfur cleanser (if skin feels fine)
☼ retinol
☼ heavier moisturiser
and on some nights instead of retinol i use:
☼ chemical exfoliant followed by heavier moisturiser
☼ face bast with cicaplast
and some days I like to have a break entirely and just do nothing for the morning and evening!
