They are playing this show on TV again here in Australia. One thing I noticed that was weird is that the video is such good quality. When you watch other TV shows from the same period they are usually a bit blurry with bad colour matching, but this show is like it was recorded in HDTV quality

I agree! and instead just give Lou (hulk) a bit more of supernatural powers, increase his strength and healing power for the more demanding tasks which a newer movie would require and that would be it! It would be better than an unreal CGI. I didn't like the newer hulk movies because it wasn't Lou and Bill Bixby (if I got his name right)

David couldn't help himself when Julie wasn't sure that she could get up after he changed into the Hulk while trying to get out of the quicksand. Good thing she did it and saved the Hulk's life just in time before her stepmother's henchman & the dogs could get them. Those dogs were scared when they went into the quicksand & had help their masters out before the Hulk defeated the last henchman flying in the helicopter.

Lou was in great shape for this episode. Dang

I must admit, Julie pissed me off too with her "I can't". I would have hulked out too knowing I'm sinking and Julie can't get out of her head.

What a shame that after the first few episodes of the first season, they did away with the original hulkout sound effect, and replaced it with that higher steady pitch of a synthesizer. I could never understand why they did away with such an effective, haunting sound...until recently, I learned the reason: The original sound included human voices. Every time it was used, the "singers" were paid a royalty. Need I say more?
