Nick Antonacci hes sloppy ALOT! And believe me, I'm a huge Bodom fan. It's just a shame to see someone as good as Alexi fall down the hole of booze, rather than honing in his skills. However, I've never seen anyone play as well as he does when he drinks. So he still has that going for him😁

Strange I noticed exactly the same lol…only because I switched over long time ago…easier up on the higher frets for some positions without the pinky….

He also often hits a root/5th with his pinky. I use my ring finger. I think at the end of the day, it's whatever is most comfortable.

I have the same problem when i play around 18+th fret... everything is so close that you simply dont need that pinky there... i dont really know. Maby thats the case

It is supposed to use the pinky because of technique...but its true, since the frets are smaller it can be used the 3rd finger. All depends on how is the phrase. But I recommend to use the pinky, because your hand will be always in the correct position.
