This is one of the most beautiful cities in Malta i have ever seen!!! This city made me say WOW so many times. Talking about cities in Malta and places you should visit or consider living, i strongly believe that Vittoriosa also known as Birgu is one of the most beautiful. It is a fortified city surrounded by the medditerranean sea. I enjoyed every single minute in this city.

Omg, this was hilarious! I showed this to my parents who grew up in Vittoriosa but who have both lived in Australia for over 40 years..thank you a million times over for taking them back to where they grew up and for making us all laugh. You’ve given them a look back into their homeland that they haven’t visited for five years and made them laugh and smile at the same time…and that bird at the end? Omg we were crying with laughter!😅

I think this is one of your best videos I just wish you would have showed us more. That area was absolutely beautiful. And I wish you would have gone into more shops especially local Maltese shops that support local artists. Next time we go to Malta I want to stay there. My girlfriend and I stayed in Birgu over Christmas and this video made me miss it so much! Such a beautiful place, so peaceful and full of history - over Christmas there are decorations everywhere, and they even play Christmas music over speakers throughout the town; it’s the perfect atmosphere if you love Christmas. I followed you before our trip to get some ideas and you inspired us to check out Mdina. Keep enjoying that Malta lifestyle!

Thanks Alex, Birgu as you had shown is a beautiful place with lots of history, please go back as there is so much more, my favourite restaurant is Tal Petut, band club is also beautiful & has great selection of beers. As you may guess I grew up in Birgu till I was 10 years old. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely impressive, we were there in December 2019 but as far as the church and the small square with the bus stop who knew the actual treasures were hiding further up 🤷 Amazing craft shops and local collaboration, the tiny streets were so pretty and clean, so full of greenery as well. Wow indeed! ❤️

I'm going back to Malta for a pre Christmas break. I went there just before Christmas in 2019.. I'd recommend anyone there at Christmas time, it's a great atmosphere, you'll never see as many Christmas lights in many other places.. more lights in Valletta than London no lie..

I have stayed in Malta four times the last time 2002 at St. Paul’s bay as st julians became ruined with development. This time I am hiring a car to see the rest of the island. Senglea and Vittoriosa are like old Malta and I can’t wait to visit again.

i would make it best by boat. ist take a boat from here to Valletta 10 minutes. then walk across Valletta to the other boat terminal in the second port(Marsamxetto harbour) another 7 minutes .then take the boat to sliema another 10minutes, total about 30minutes if you reach them in time. with the bus about 40 minutes a bus from here to valletta, another bus from valletta to sliema. you can use a taxi or a hire car to arrive quicker.
