The trouble is the tone of the videos changed from just a girl and her dog in the woods camping and bush crafting(very popular) to more of a self-pity, whining event so her views dropped…that’s why the money dropped.

Life is an experiment, one where you don't see the results instantly, but in hindsight you can see if there was success, or a continued battle for success. I feel your adventures have been a successful over all, even if you now choose to focus on the future, and family. Incidentally, this is something that I've sensed you have desired all along, so go for it, girl! Coffee, campfires, and snow, make a marvelous trilogy. These three things will always be magical to me, and I've enjoyed your sharing of this trilogy. Thank you. Remember, coffee is always better in a kuksa, lol!

I only recently found your channel Careena. It has been only since the CV-19 episode started that I began watching KZfaq at all. I have to say that I enjoy watching your videos and the many other people, especially women creating similar videos. When I was going up there were few women doing the things that you, and other women, are doing in the wilderness. My friends were hoping to someday find a woman to share the love of the outdoors with but stubbled immensely in that quest. I have commented on a few other channels where the algorithms and policies are crushing their abilities to earn enough to keep producing videos and are diversifying in order keep afloat. I basically said that you have to do what you need to to live and especially if you have a family. I love that more women seem to be getting out into the "wilds" and camping and hiking. Also those that are sailing these days I find inspirational as well. It is sad that now that women are finding the freedom and enjoyment of the outdoors that the establishment is doing everything to reign it in and suppress those freedoms and diminish self reliance. Keep the good work coming and I'll watch whatever you produce when I can. Stay strong and blessing towards you and your family. PS: Use a pinned comment or something to let us know what other sites you are on or creating so we can continue to follow unimpeded.

For those of us that have never made a dime off making content… I support you 100% and this is what I strive to keep. I simply record my adventures and want to immortalize them in way that’s fun to watch… if people come along then I’m happy. If not, I’m happy. What I never want to do is be a slave to putting stuff out just to put it out… I want to enjoy the trip, and feel the inspiration to shoot. There are plenty of trips I’ve brought my camera and not shot because I either have already done video too similar, or I just wasn’t feeling it. And let’s all address the elephant in the outdoor YT space: I never want to do cringey thumbnails, no fake shots I have to go back and get the camera I passed, just capturing what I think will be interesting to watch as it happens. Anyway. Good on you and stay true. You’ll end up on top 🤙🏽
