It's very easy to make methods in java. ✅ In this video I show exactly how to make a method in java for your program!
👑Start practicing now with 10 free java programs - alexlorenlee.com/

Usually for your first java methods you'll use the keywords "public static void". You can call whatever's in your method with just one line!
I had a horrible time with methods when I first started out. I didn't fully understand them and I had no idea how to use them for projects. Once you learn how to create a method in java and learn that it lets you run multiple lines with just one line, then it's not too bad :) If you followed along, congrats! You learned-by-doing!
I hope you enjoyed this java methods tutorial for beginners! I like to have a nice mix of tutorials and actual projects for you all :)

@@faisalalamri4091 that's not the only problem. Actually, teachers be like, write examples then another then another then another with in the same hour, let's say you asked the teacher for clarification, the teacher will bring something harder (Don't expect the easiest basic to be explained through another example from the same topic, ) But sure once you learn the first language, everything will be easier to understand the more you proceed on learning.

Feelings of discouragement, frustration, anxiety, and confusion. I would see other people just talk about topics in a casual way while I'm lost in the terminology. I would hear Methods, Objects, Classes, and continue with the lesson. I would go back to those topics and I still wouldn't understand. They were all just the same. I took several breaks to hopefully let it sink in, but it wouldn't do much. Now I finally have a solid foundation to what it is. Thank you, kind sir. I don't know why your videos aren't the standard, considering they helped a complete beginner like me more than the official "support" material provided.

Thanks, I felt that codecademy started introducing several terms really fast in the "Learn Java: Methods" lesson. I followed the concepts pretty well as they introduced them but then struggled later to remember the correct terminology or whats-what ( like - whats this called again; a class? a constructor? a method? an object? ) . Your videos are helpful for learning to distinguish these ideas from one another.
