Too bad there aren't more big-budget films with Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins. Spawn's probably the only big-budget blockbuster with either one of them starring in it. White, in particular, has all the acting chops of any of the bigger stars, and is much more convincing in fight scenes than 90% of your so-called action heroes out there.

It helps if you're a six foot one 220 lbs man that looks like a Greek statue brought to life using the fighting style though. Nothing improves a fighting style like three times as much power behind the strikes.

@@vishalkanwar2333 Yes, and if there is even a moderately comparable amount of training and skill between the two, the 120 lb man loses every fight. Only if the big guy is completely unskilled, or some sort of pacifist, is he going to lose to someone that small.

I agree that it is well choreographed ...... but its pure Hollywood. As a martial artist for the better part of my life I like to see various styles & methods . And believe that White is very gifted fighter. But I can’t stand all of the pause n poses he does at the end of whatever technique he’s used. Do that crap in a real fight and you’ll get the crap knocked out of you.

As a long time martial artist and Marine i have been in several solo streetfights and utilizing kata did not hinder the fight at all. A well trained martial artist knows when and where their kata apply and can utilize them to their maximum effectiveness.

Everyone was like saying Mma cant loose to karate tbh any fighting style can beat anyone. Cobra was an open book basically no offense so for a seasoned fighter like Jai white's character it's easy to counter and throw him off guard

I agree Mike should've been BLADE nothing against. Wesley Snipes I guess it wasn't Mike's time I saw the new MIDNIGHT SUNS trailer. Mike looks bad ass as BLADE the new armor reminds me of samurai armor mix with ninja with SCORPION'S color scheme it's nice and the katana as well.
