This was the "Diamonds are Forever" of the Brosnan Bonds.

Oddly enough, the computer game 'Everything or Nothing' was the last time Brosnan played Bond officially, very good it was too.

I had no idea this film was a response to XXX. Wow man, talk about missing the mark. If there was any spy flick that came out that year the DAD guys should have been looking out for, it should have been the Bourne Identity. Die Another Day modeled after TBI, now that would have been a cool movie IMO.

Oooooh, more of the plot crossing over from previous reviews. Still i enjoyed die another day too it reminded me of Moore era bond, unashamedly silly & fun. Modern bond could do with a few laughs, its so grim..

maybe but james bond its not all about action, at least for me. i shoud give skyfall a chance. i hope its not an stupid action movie. casio royal and quantum solace somehow miss the jb flair.

the film was better than casino royal and quantum solace. and i rather have stupid gadgets than no gadgets.

Um, no, the theme for "Die Another Day" is bad, but not QUITE as bad as "Quantum of Solace".

Seriously, the main argument of Die Another Day haters ? "It's stupid". Yeah it is but... did you really watch the 19 previous Bond ? I mean... Man ! Before the Craig era, ALL Bond movies had several stupid moments. Roger Moore era is stupider than Die Another Day. You can say whatever you want, the kitesurf or the invisible car (exists today IRL, even if it's not that perfect obviously) are nothing against (it's just 1 example) Jaws who cuts the cables of a cable railway with his teeth ! Die Another Day is stupid but it's a very good action movie.

casio royal and quantum solace, too much action, blond jb, beer drinking, no gadgets, no moneypenny. it was just a forgetabel action movie. the international was better...and for me golden eye was the last "good" bond movie.
