Shark Tanked by the BEST IN THE WORLD | Israel Adesanya and Craig Jones
Check out behind the scenes of Alexander Volkanovski's training camp against Yair Rodriguez coming at UFC 290.
Alexander Volkanovski will return to the Octagon July 8th with the UFC featherweight champion defending his crown against interim title holder Yair Rodriguez.

@@AlexVolkanovskiOfficialHey Volk, I know you and Izzy just signed up with Prime but I'd look into the electrolyte levels in Prime especially Food Theorists KZfaq video investigating this topic. Prime doesnt have the right electrolyte levels to properly replenish the electrolytes lost in sweat. Human sweat has a Sodium/Potassium ratio of 3.5mg/1mg respectively whereas Prime only has a ratio of 0.014mg/1mg, not nearly enough sodium, that's why it's so sweet compared to other sports drinks which have a saltier taste and it perhaps has too much potassium. Gatorade and Powerade have much better levels with 3.4mg Sodium/1mg Potassium and 4.1mg/1mg respectively, plus more optimum levels of other electrolytes like magnesium and you get the added sugar which can help fuel your sessions whereas Prime has hardly any. I'm not a salesman of these drinks but I just want you to get the optimum electrolyte levels and dont want drinking Prime to adversely affect your training or performance in the ring if you arent getting the right electrolytes. Just food for thought. Love you Volk (and Izzy), from Australia. 💪🇦🇺

@pumpkinhooch
@pumpkinhooch 11 ай бұрын
To double down on your point about Craig, the grappling exchanges were so clearly meant to wear Volk out with all the dragging and weight games. It looks like it was all submission defense from an exhausted state, which is doubly helpful because an exhausted opponent is going to play the energy game the same way, and probably can't really rip subs that tired anyway.
@madgavin7568

@@pumpkinhooch Yair subbed Josh with a triangle in his last fight because Josh was exhausted. No doubt if Volk takes down Yair the latter will be working hard off his back to land damage and secure subs, gotta be prepared for that especially in what will most likely be a grueling fight.
