I apologize for my last comment since it really stuck out to you and since yes, shortly after my comments Sudachi threw out a few updates. I will say, thank you in this video for clarifying why Sudachi is promising with improvements. I was unaware that the developer had already been familiar porting Yuzu and possibly knows how to work some of the code. At the time seeing the drama play out with Suyu and other emulators forking that came and went I had thought Sudachi was one more on the pile of abandonment. Thank you for your time making these videos, they are amazing and very appreciated.

Actually, I didn't find your comment toxic, but I was thinking exactly what you were saying. Maybe I was wasting my time with an almost abandoned emulator. However, after posting the video, updates came out. Currently, the developer of Sudachi has been working on a multi-emulator for Android, and I think that's why the Sudachi updates were less prioritized.

the other day i was playing bayonetta 3 on yuzu and after 4 hours of playing, the game suddenly went down to 5 fps after beating a boss at the results screen. i reckon that's a memory leak right? technically speaking Sudachi should be able to run it just fine? Here are my specs just in case RTX 2060 Super 16 gb ram 3200 mhz R5 5500

Sudachi Question - Has anyone been having an issue transferring saved games from Yuzu to Sudachi? I copy over my Yuzu Android saves into Sudachi folder (nand/save) and then games in Sudachi won't load (stays on "Launching...") - Any ideas?

I tried Torzu, it's not really a malware or any suspicious virus on it, it works just as well as the last version of yuzu but with some improvements and new settings to improve further performance. If it has any malware or anything like that, it would be listed as not recommended but really there isn't anything like that. Personally for me, I prefer using Sudachi and Ryujinx as the main emulators I use but it is nice to see that Torzu is also joined along. Let's see how far it can stay and improve upon.

I already have an old Yuzi still available. Is it still worth it to use that or has the emulation progressed enough to where everything else runs better then Yuzu because they can't update it anymore

Ryujinx is currently the best emulator for the sole reason that it works flawlessly with the 'Lossless Scaling' app, with FG enabled you can triple the frame rate at literally no cost, There are no noticeable artifacts or frame spikes or input lag, and it's smooth sailing even when upscaling from 30fps base. It still works fine with other emulators but the performance is not as strong as with Ryujinx and there are some noticeable artifacts in certain situations.

Eu continuo atualizando semanalmente meu riujinx e ainda tenho o yuzu 4152 (acho que é isso, é uma das ultimas att). pra jogos novos vou usar o riujinx e antigos o yuzu. (pelo menos a maior parte pq alguns rodam melhor no riujinx no meu pc)

Thanks for the video! I'm new to the PC scene and am looking for an emulator that is the most reliable where I can "dump roms" of games I own so I can play them at 4k/60. I was thinking ryukinx because I've heard its the most stable. I'm willing to sacrifice frames for stability. I don't know if the hardware matters enough but I'm hoping my 4070 will enable this one to get to 60fps.

It should if you have a 4070, but if not u can download “mods” for that game, which is somthing that allow the game to run at 60 fps, since most switch game run at 30, so if it like that then it not your computer but the game itself, hence people make “mods” for that game to allow it to run at 60

I am not expert, but check after video how work torza with my steam deck vs sudachi (i use sudachi for gaming). So i check only Zelda TOTK with same mods and same save and same version of course - result: sudachi 1.0.2 use 10.2 Gb Ram torza (version from 31.05.2024) use 7,9 Gb Ram. Look like Sudachi doesn't fixed ram using, or even it fixed, torza use same minimum memory.

I have a huge catalogue of digital Switch games. Since I got a decent PC, I can emulate them at much higher frame rates and resolutions, with some graphical mods, too. I bought those games. I already gave Nintendo and developers their money. I'm entitled to play them however I see fit. People buy second hand games and that's much worse for the industry because no one makes a profit from it. No one says a thing. Think about it.

@@fabio78 Second hand games can be good for the industry, provided the money stays in the same industry. If I can sell my games, that money can be spent on newer games. Even if used games are sold and the money is spent on something else, the ability to sell games makes them more valuable.

The switches hardware is 10 years old and games run like garbage on the switch. If Nintendo would just sell their games on PC they wouldn't need to worry about emulators

So Suyu died because devs thought it was wrong to OWN a Switch Developer Kit and reference it for reverse engineering purposes? So in other words the code isn't cursed and the ex devs are just severing because they dont like the guy in charge? Why do they have to complicate it more than that? Sounds weird to me. Whatever, I hope this doesnt mean all Switch emulators will stop development now.
