This video is part 2 from a series of 4 videos about the Alfa Romeo GTV V6. In this second part I will tell a lot about the Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 24V from the late nineties and early zeros. This is called the 916-generation. I will tell you about its history, possible upgrades and of course how it drives and sounds.

A little hack for the seating position : i'm 1m93, and i took off the spacers under the seat rails, it makes a great difference! Nice video, too! 🇫🇷🇮🇹

The seats in my V6 has been modified with removal of foam etc from the seat to allow you to sit in it rather than on top of it....the How to...is on AlfaOwner; I never realised until I drove another one at a meet, could never understand why everyone hated the seats. Mine has a Q2 and GTA clutch and flywheel feels like it spins up quicker and the Q2 means power down whenever it's needed with no torque steer, fully polybushed and a bespoke cat back exhaust.

Rear suspension is completely different to Alfa 155.

it doesn't share the suspension with the 155. Front subframe is the same, rear is a unique, fully independent subframe with passive steering. And yes, the phase 2 seats are horrible. Nice to look at but that's about it. Take the electronically adjusted ones, they are perfect.
