I'm > 60 and this car was my dream car from 16 to 20. Never had one, but had the chance to drive one of these on nearly 500 km, I was so happy ! 😄

I'm lucky enough, to have a friend who has one of these and as a car painter, I'm helping him bring it back to it's former glory. Few weeks, and it is finished and I get to drive it too.

How I llove this sound! I had the last non cat from 1984 to 1995 with no radio for 8 years on board. Ran two times all alps passe from Bolzano to South France.....:-))....and no tech issues at all.

True, the fastest car produced in South Africa in that time. It was not the only Alfa built in South Africa, there were the Alfasud, the Giulietta, the Alfetta, the Alfa 33 and some special Fiat models based on the 128, too 😃 🍀 🏁

For me it is between the Busso, and the Honda Type R engine, for best engine sounds ever. The Busso will….be the best sounding engine ever, unless we get synthetic fuels 😀

The Alfa Romeo GTV6, to me, honestly looks like a cross-breeding of the first-gen Nissan Fairlady Z and the first-/second-gen Ford Capri.

When Busso died, people with busso-engined cars went to his funeral and as the coffin exited the church they started together the engine to let him give the last proper greeting to his father/creator.😢

I've read about this but never seen a video, definitely an emotionally charged moment, i'm sure... and in every case well deserved by this special person, who was Giuseppe Busso (1913-2006)

Thank you for your comment. These prepared GTV6s in the video have between 200 and 250hp, depending on the engine 2,5 or 3,0 L and the tuner. 🍀💪😀🏁

@@user-wn9pk2be7k Lancia Delta Integrale также является иконой, это совсем другой автомобиль с полным приводом и турбодвигателем, но GTV6 - это симфония, двигатель busso - еще одна икона. Надо брать обе 💪😃🏁🍀
