liking the brakes by wire?

​@@ombra306 I'm with Derm Campbell-Tanner. The rear camera is very poor. But the thing that annoys me more are the turning signals. I don't understand why they have the turning signals working the as they do. You press to switch them on and the lever returns to the middle. And you have to press the opposite direction to turn them off. ...sometimes we keep signalling one way and then the other by mistake. Silly decision from Alfa Romeo. They should work just like the wipers. We get them On and then Off pulling the lever in the very same direction. And the interior is top class. Yes, the infotainment could be better, but the design and the materials is top, I would say, better than many other German options I've seen and felt. The leather in the Alfa is really good natural leather. It smells and feels like the real thing. The brakes by wire is just a matter of getting use to them. Which is a natural thing that comes with practice. The car really brakes very well, so there are no confidence issues. It's just the feeling in the pedal that is different because it's more the pedal position not so much the pressure applied that determines how hard it will break. ...but it is something we quickly adapt. I understand many of the reviewers that only have a car for a day or two. After a week we completely forget about the brakes feeling being 'different'.

How has it been to you? Is it ok to buy one used?

@@Anthony-qh1xv I would go for a model after the 2019 revision. Infotainment is better and more important, the interior quality was improved as well - more solid, more quiet.

Very similar price to the X3 here in the UK. X3 probably has the better interior but Alfa potentially better to drive. Really depends what you want from the car I'd say

@@FootToPedal Thank you, I was on a test drive 2021 stelvio ti sport awd in us $60000 with carbon fiber trim and I think it’s not near to BMW X3 specially for this price I can get a nice X.3 M 40 around $62000 before discount and it’s much faster better multimedia idrive I did not find anything That screams quality in Alfa beside the badge

Ah yeah M40i will be much quicker than a Stelvio TI for sure! Alfa's these days are very high quality but if you can get an M40i for that price that seems like a pretty good deal!

@@arthurberner2023 You've seen the more expensive Stelvio with the carbon finishes. The difference between a base Stelvio and a base X3 M40 is over 25k!

Yeah new Alfa is a different story these days, it is very much on par with the German stuff, and definitely a bit cheaper too

Had Alfas since early 1980's. Minor issues but no more than any other manufacturer, you are living in the 70's Adrian or listening to the prophets of doom. My Stelvio Veloce is awesome and doesnt look like everyone elses boring German sheds either!
