There is a pretty neat feature with AlfaOBD and 2014+ ram trucks that allows you to roll down the front windows using only your key fob, even outside the car! Watch this video and see how easy it is to set "Global Down" on your truck!

That's a good feature especially in Florida, my 11 challenger had that and was disappointed they didn't have it on the RAM

the up feture requires factory unlock and if you have a terminal app and no the cars lock code you can unlock it that way .

Hi I just used your tutorial on how to do this and it worked! I have a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins mega Cab, I was wondering if the roll-up feature has been updated now as this was a video from 3 years ago? If so do you have a video on how to do that? I'm assuming it would just be the opposite lock function and then hold down the lock to get them to roll up? Thanks! Great video!

Hey not sure if your still answering comments about this but i just got my setup and tried this for my first test and its not working for some reason. i have a 2016 ram 1500 slt and it shows yes if i go into alfaobd right now it shows yes and for some reason i cant get them to go down... anyone else ever have this issue??

Hi Charles, THX for this nice tutorial.👍 Is there any way to get all windows(also in the back) and the sunroof open? Do you know why the "global windows up" feature isn´t working? Would be nice to close all windows (incl. sunroof) when it starts to rain...😬

That's a great feature I didn't know was available, thanks What I really would like is for the mirrors to fold when I lock the truck, is that an available feature?

Hmm, not sure. I'll have to try and dig to find out. Power mirrors should make that pretty easy...

@@chazpages thanks for your reply, For sure you would think with power folding mirrors ram would make that feature available. I know lots of cars have fold when locking available and they don't stick out near as far. Thanks for your research!

I’m wondering if it could tie into a “remote start unit” so you only have the 1 keyfob not 2?

If you have the factory remote start option you can just use that same keyfob. As for aftermarket alarm/remote start, maybe.

I'm trying to find an answer on some of the cherokee forums, so far it seems like 2011 was the last year this was possible. Haven't seen anything about using alfaobd though...

No, it's not enabled yet. Even from dealerships I believe.

Have you figured out how to add vented seats? I have heated seats and steering wheel and was about to add the icons on the screen but they dont do anything.
