Honestly don't worry at all about not being able to share the full spectrum of highs and lows in your life, I think the main reason I watch your vlogs is to get a quick dose of a happy and uplifting video in my day! It always makes me feel so good after I finish watching and helps me if I've been having a bad day, and gives me hope for my future. I think supplementing the videos with an occasional reminder that your life isn't always this perfect is a good compromise, just so the viewer is reminded that if they're going through bad times, that's ok too and perfectly normal!

A quick note for blueland- I wouldn’t recommend the window cleaner as it leaves some streaks behind, however, my roommate and I use blueland for our multipurpose cleaner, kitchen cleaner, and bathroom cleaner, and we LOVE IT. Highly recommend blueland as a company!

Another great Vlog. Going back to your questions and wanting to show different parts of your life is hard. You're right to some degree that we only see the good parts but actually, thats why I come here. Like I don't click on your vlog to be reminded on the negative parts of day to day life. I come away from your vlogs thinking "yeah lets get the pool out soon" or "yeah, lets do some gardening and plant some veggies too" or whatever. Also, the more you put yourself out there the more likely you are for people to pass judgement or get involved or form an opinion on the 'negative' aspects and it wouldn't be fair to put yourself or others in the family through that. I think you have a good balance and you are real with how you portray yourself

Unpopular opinion: I actually love that your videos paint the picture of an “ideal life”!! Obviously it’s great being open about the good AND bad times, but watching your videos gives me the motivation to create my own perfect life! Of course no one’s life is perfect, but the moments you guys have with friends/family is what I strive for. You guys have been my role models for 9 years now, thank you!!!

Hi Alfie, just a little gardening tip when growing sweetcorn they are best planted in a grid rather than in rows. The reason is they are wind pollinated so there is better chance of pollination if they are in a square grid, say 4 rows by 4 columns. 🥰 but looking good 👍

I have never done a love language test before and because of you mentioning it I did one. Words of affirmation is my love language but I also love giving small gifts to friends as well. I think for me and my partner I love just being around him even if we aren't doing anything or talking, just his presence makes me calm and happy. I’ve been watching u both since before you and Zoe met. I have stayed consistently watching you both because you do feel open and honest about everything and just so Authentically good people! I love that and I just love watching people with the same values and similar enough to myself. I love growing up along side you both and your family! So much better than any reality show.

I have been watching your vlogs for about 7 years and have always enjoyed your enthusiasm for what you share. As someone who could be your gran...I've loved watching you and Zoe grow to adulthood, finding your passions, evolving into partners and a parents. I have nieces and nephews who are going through this same time of life. It's a joy to behold.

I’m not one for commenting and not sure if you will see this but I wanted to point out something that you do VERY well. You talk very openly about people only seeing a small portion of your day and you are very open and transparent about not wanting to look like you have the perfect life. I dip into your videos from time to time and you always manage to find the balance and you are able to articulate so well that you try to show the good and the bad whilst maintaining a somewhat personal life that you don’t share. Unlike other content creators you never come across that you are trying to prove something. Anyways, I just wanted to jump on and say that you and Zoe do that very well and I’m sure these will be incredible video diaries to show Ottie when she is older. All the best!

How life has changed… you have always inspired us , made us think out the box , taken us along on your crazy journey…but Alfie I’m so proud of you and Zoe of how you both have adapted to parenting. Since finding out Zoe was having a baby , life really did a 180 you both landed running. Seeing Ottie crawling into her cardboard den was brilliant and Nala never far away was magical. That's so true that your kid absolutely doesn't care if you're having a bad hair day, have zits/spots, if you have cellulite, or what you're wearing. Your kid cares that you are there, present. Having kids does change what you find important!

The workout routine is something I just got back on . This is the start of week 2 I feel so proud. I just do 30 min of anything a day on and off strength training and cardio

Just want to say though how refreshing it was when you answered the question so well about what content would you like us to see more of that doesn't get put up or something like that lol. You mentioned about your life and wish we could see it as a whole both bad and good times and how it's usually the good we watch. It's very easy as a viewer (an old one at that at 43 lol) to get swept up in the idea that everything we see is reality and your always happy and everything is good in life, but in actual fact it isn't always the case, as like everyone else you experience not so good/low times etc. I just loved the way you explained that so well and let viewers know it isn't always the case. We only get snippets of your lives and obviously you want us to see the positive content. However I think you handle anything you do disclose about issues etc very well I think you both ( and Joe and Dianne who I also love to watch ) are brilliant role models to the young viewers because your always yourselves, no filters, down to earth, honest, genuinely lovely people and I just wanted you to know that I for 1 appreciate that and thankyou for it. As I fully understand that filming the nice things in life is much more rewarding, maybe talking about the harder parts in life (worries, setbacks, etc) every now and then, actually might help a lot of people watching your channel because your succes isn't there because your just lucky, but because of making the right choices and try and error and not giving up when times can get more rough..

Thank you for reminding me to be there for my daughter who is 6 . I forget to slow down and take time to invite her into the everyday tasks . We just had our first full weekend together in a long time and it was the best weekend ever. She goes to her dads on day on the weekend every weekend . So I feel like I don't get to fully just have a li g tome to be together .
