For what? Designing a high priced boat thats like pulling teeth trying to do basic service work on? Pursuits are a nightmare to deal with. As I posted in another comment, other boat builders do a much better job making their vessels accessible for service work. Pursuit is just another one of those boat builders who could care less, as long as they sell you the boat and get your money.

Eli I strongly suggest you take a look if your in the market for a boat of this size

@@AlfredMontaner looking at that one, Everglades 428 and the new Solace 41... trying to find out if the Pursuit 428 uses wood in their structure. They do in some of their boats. Everglades does NOT. Zero wood on theirs :-)

Pursuits are by far one of the worst designed boats for serviceability that I have ever seen. They are over-stuffed with equipment and very poorly laid out under the deck for working space. It's easy for some salesman to convince an eager customer that the boat is "serviceability" when he points to a couple spin-on fuel filters and some access hatches here and there. But that doesn't mean the designer put any thought into making the boat serviceable. This quickly becomes evident when you actually try to work on one of these boats. It is clear that the Pursuit designers put very little thought into making their vessels reasonably accessible for the technicians. There are other boat builder within the same price bracket that do a far better job at designing a boat with quality access to the service spaces. And therefore last a lot longer too.

For a boat this size, the V8 Yamaha engines are going to be a MUCH better option due to torque. The 450R are I6 supercharged, the V8 will get you out to plane faster and at a lower RPM. If you are looking for top speed, look at the MTI or Midnight Express with quad 450R's... this boat is not about top speed, but rather fishability, family entertaining, spending 2-3 nights out on the boat comfortably and quick to plane ...

@@elianselmi4099 Please Do your research, The 450R is a 4.6 liter Supercharged V8 not a v6 and produces lots of torque. The 450 not only produces more HP than the Yamaha but also weighs about 300 lbs. less than the yamaha
