Same issue

I’m having same issue. Last thing I’m going to try is to reset mobile network settings (I’ve spent probably 3 hours with Verizon 2nd tier tech support during 3 occasions but no help). What I’m hearing from Verizon is that it’s a Samsung phone issue. If I figure it out (I usually do eventually) I’ll come back here and let you know.

@@richardlansing Turns out you have to open your Phone Service Provider app, in my case Vodafone, and then go to your plan and there was an option for me to swap manual sim to an eSIM. When it processed I went back into the phone settings, Connection, SIM manager, and the eSIM finally downloaded! Have to do the first step I mentioned.

@@bostongeorge6734 Turns out I had to first open up my Phone Service Provider app, Vodafone, and in there I went to "My Plans" section where it gave me the option to change my old sim to an eSIM. Then once that was done I went back into the Phone settings, Connections, SIM manager, and then chose to download eSIM and it worked!!!! Have to change your old sim to eSIM before the phone is able to detect and download.
