Rabia, thank you for bringing these two talented people! I watch this drama with interest, as I want to see the social message contained in it! In terms of the abuse by Zain’s mother on him since childhood, and that of Zain on Eshal in the presence of his mother is very disturbing to watch!Just a slight correction to Ali Abbas’s inputs that it’s drug addicts and alcoholics who do this, no it’s a familiar pattern in all domestic violence even those who don’t do drugs or alcohol! First there is keeping the person isolated from their family then the abuse, then the apology! I disagree with Rebaab, that she should save her marriage! The provisor should be if he lends himself to psychological therapy/ counselling, as he is also very abused since childhood, and it doesn’t disappear on its own! The mother needs psychological assessment and therapy too! The importance is for Eshal not to hide the truth from her family, as this is the very reason why we see abuse escalates, this is my experience in dealing with patients who are victims of domestic abuse!

Ali z acting is sooo good in Angna.Rabab is also doing good but Ali ufff is very good.

Both of them spoke excellently on the issue of marriage. 100% agree. East n west point by Rabab, our generation is different from our parents generation etc. Very challenging times..And thinking of marriage as fantasy...without compromises. Excellent advice !

I went through a lot of martial issues and as an educated girl living in the UK with extremely supportive parents and siblings I found it very very hard to get out of a marriage where I was unhappy. But talking to my parents and sibling about my issues helped me resolve my issues as they took a stand for me. So I understand her point. But why don’t these women share anything with their parents that’s what annoys me. Well off parents and healthy parents die as soon as their daughters say something silly and small. Such a bad message. Our Pakistani parents are so so strong masha allah. I wish they would show that too.
