I've heard of "Ali Baba and the fourty thieves" for many decades but it was not until today that I made the effort to "read" this story. And it was not what I expected. I always thought this was a story of Ali Baba leading a group of thieves in a Robin Hood style adventure. Instead it turns out to be anything but that. Plus the dark undertones of murder run deep in this story like it does in the societies where this story originates from.

Have you not read sherlock holmes or some of what was written by agatha christie !!!??. Now all of these are fiction tales. I dont want to delve into real history because it is even more horrendous. These barbaric behaviours were, are and always will be a trait commonly shared among europeans/ westreners.

It’s originally written in Arabic. It’s open sesame in Arabic. That’s why Qasim was thinking of all the other grains when he couldn’t remember which grain it was.
