In my opinion, Ali Fakra Toure is the greatest guitarist to come from West Africa, and the continent of Africa for that matter. I have lost one of my favorite artists, and Africa has lost the best son, a musical genius, who was ranked among the Top Guitar players of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine. May Allah (God) bless you, Ali Inshallah.

It was in 1996 when I was working in the bush in Niger with the tuareg that I first heard this music on the local radio... And i was lost... And the poignancy, the melancholy, the wistful longing that is mixed with the sound of the wind across the desert. It hurts to hear it again

Correction, il est natif de Gourma Rharous, Il est 100% de de Gourma Rharous de mère et de mère, mais c'est à l'âge de 6 ans qu'il a suit sa mère marié à un garde chef de péleton muté à Niafunké, son père lui a donné tout amour dont un enfant a besoin, donc, il a fait tout son enfance à Niafunké, mais des sa majorité il venait chaque année à Gourma Rharous précisément Gabéry pour voir sa famille, et à chaque semaine locale interquattier il vient jouer pour le quartier Djoulabougou, D'ailleurs il y une vidéo sur fbk dans laquelle il dit clairement être natif de mère et père de Gourma Rharous,
