The womens team had the option to choose the mens contract but instead went with a safer contract and earned less money per game. They sued twice and lost twice, the organization just gave them more money. Its disengenuine to say equal pay when the women now actually earn more money than the mens team. NWSL no one watches, i cant even get my friends to watch it. Maybe one day women will support the NWSL more so they can get paid more.

No profit no pay simple when u make a profit then share the profit amongst the players.

This makes no freaking sense…If you wanna make more, then get women to watch your sport….WTF is going on. Lecturing to men is not going to make them watch you, you cant guilt men into doing something unless your sleeping with them. You can guilt a woman into doing something. So concentrate on women. This whole discussion is absurd. You shouldn’t strive for equal pay, you should strive for fair pay, if you deserve more then you should get more. USWNT already makes as much as the USMNT. We aren’t talking about the national team, these people couldn’t be more disingenuous with there “facts”. They are beyond irrelevant. No crap more people in America watched the WC women’s final…OUR COUNTRY WAS PLAYING IN IT…Lets compare the viewership of the last World Cup and see what those totals were, not going to gave the same result there. I don’t want anyone paid less, but your pay is contingent on REVENUE, I believe if women’s revenue surpasses man’s revenue then women SHOULD be paid more. Just like female models are paid more than male models. Female OF models make like 100000x what a male of creator makes. That is the market. Your feelings aren’t relevant in how the market prices your labor. Instead of winning about it, do something to ACTUALLY. Advertise the product. I indeed watch women’s soccer, which is more than the host of the show. I just cant stand getting lectured at during games about how no one watches the games. Instead of going on talk shows, why don’t you run some freaking ads instead of trying to guilt people into watching you. I am so triggered by this discussion, my apologies.

Ive been a Huge supporter of women's sports for decades. Im a season ticket holder for my NWSL local team. I support everything youre talking about. But comparing Messi to ANYONE is stupid, extremely stupid, and to use his stats of 2 months at MLS while injured is disingenuous. You completely lose credibility if you are so insanely stupid in the opening segment.
