Hi everybody,
Welcome back!
Today I’m reviewing another foundation and I feel like this has become my favorite makeup product to review. It is the most important and the most expensive in a makeup routine so I love reviewing this for you.
I’ve filmed this video a few hours ago, so I’m still wearing the makeup you see in this video, it looks as if I’ve just applied it I’m actually quite surprised about that because when I’m home I’m not really careful and I touch my face a lot.
Between this foundation and the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish foundation, that I’ve recently reviewed I can say the Skin Fetish is less coverage than CT’s foundation and also Skin Fetish photographs excellent compared with Tilbury’s which is not at all bad, but I’m just telling you which one is better in pictures. Also Skin Fetish is a bit closer to the shades they say they are, when the CT is not at all what they claim to be in terms of color. Definitely the CT foundation has more of a normal price, when Skin Fetish is probably one of the most expensive foundations I’ve tried.
If I were to pick between the two, for an everyday foundation but also something I could use when I have a special occasion, for me but also for clients, I’d go with the Skin Fetish from Pat McGrath just because it’s much more versatile, sets fast, good colors and it looks great in pictures which… when it comes to what I do for a living is very important!

That was such a great foundation review! Thank you for being so detailed. It really helps us older gals. Well I have to say I have tried many, many foundations in the past but the chanel ultra teint velvet lumiere is by far the best. It looks so natural, does not transfer, blurs my pores, does not emphasize texture, long wearing, does not settle into lines....I have many lines as I am 62 years old. It was recommended by Hot and Flashy and I have not found a foundation as beautiful as this. Every other foundation looks like I have foundation on which I hate.

That's a real honest and still very respectful review! Thanks I tried the Luminous Silk and loved it... got the Backstage one to do my cousin's make up for her wedding and loved it... but since I have tried the La Mer foundation... oh my God!!! I feel like no other foundation could reach that result... and I hope that also since it's soooooo expensive!!! (At least until I finish it 😂😂😂).

Most of the time for those brands we do pay for the packaging! I loved the whole look, but not used to seeing with such a full coverage foundation. You could see it accentuated the lines on your forehead. Please do a video on the rest of the makeup. You look gorgeous as usual love 💕

Thank you so much for such a complete review of all of the products you do. I love your candor regarding all of the products which makes you appear more credible than most. (Plus the fact that you are a make up artist, very credible and donate your time to these videos is very kind). I love the full coverage makeup and am loyal to Armani’s luminous silk foundation. I think that this particular foundation is not the best coverage for you. Of course, you always look beautiful, but this was the first video I could see the veins just lateral to your right eye. I, also, loved the lashes on you. I loved your look today and would like to hear about the lip colors you used. I also thought the shadow on your lower medial lid was a little too much, but that may have been the look you’re looking for. I know this is an unasked for critique. I apologize, no offense, but thought sometimes you might want some honest feedback. I love and appreciate your videos and as stated before appreciate advice from a professional. Since this one is a little cakey in some areas, what foundations will not cake and give your skin a more of a flawless look? I need to find a new foundation!

there is no full coverage without having at least a bit of cakyness. Unless you're that lucky person with a flawless skin, but then you wouldn't need a full coverage foundation. If you want full coverage you need to make a compromise. If you're ok with less coverage then I have a whole video with my top 5 favorite medium coverage foundations that actually look beautiful on a skin with flaws, like mine. The whole filter industry and photoshop made us all believe there is such thing as perfect skin but it isn't ! I promise!
