It's a Romanian usage to have everything in one bag😂😂 I remember this from my childhood. I used to keep them in a same similar bag but you literally changed my life. You presented last year a gorgeous organiser black case for make-up and I bought two of them same as you have: one for make-up and one for accessories. I also follow your tips and I get lots of compliments from my husband. I'm more organized and more confident when wearing makeup because I know I now I do it in the right way. Hi Andrea- what's really helped me- I go to a container/organizer store and buy wire baskets that are stackable. I use one-two baskets for each category- 1 all skincare,/foundations 2. all eyeshadow- singles and pallets w mascara and eyebrow products 3. all blushers- cream and power w bronzers and contour. This has helped me save time looking for stuff and it also helps minimize how many products I use. Love from NYC xoxogena

Now, that I watched your video, I realized that you are totally right. I never find my mascara, because I have a lot, and the reason for that, it's because many makeup are discontinued, and then, I keep buying things that I like as if the world was going to end next day. I have got better since I subscribed to your channel, my skincare is all stood up in one of those zip topped cases. It’s getting the palettes and lipsticks and pencils in a system that makes sense that I need to do. They are all in that bag that I tip out every morning - and you are so right about the duplicitous buying, and finding stuff you’ve forgotten about.

I recently bought those clear vanity cases with drawers and it’s perfect. I can see everything I need daily and it works for me. :)

Great tips! I’ve been using Expensive makeup cases when I travel and I want to keep them pristine so I always put anything that can spill or make a mess in a small plastic bag inside the makeup case. That has saved me a few times.

Brilliant video Ali. I did have to chuckle, because years ago when I went out, I used to carry EVERYTHING in my make-up bag bar the kitchen sink. Now I only take pressed powder with a small brush, lip liner and brush, lipstick and gloss. The rest stays at home all beautifully arranged in clear perspex drawer units. If I go away I have a medium sized make-up travel case (thank you Amazon) with dividers that can be moved around to fit what I'm going to be taking. The weight has now been dutifully removed from my handbag. x💚.

I have a multi pocket organizer hanged in my bathroom for all my eyeshadows and compacts. Brushes are in a container. Lipsticks all together, standing in a plastic organizer. Everything else is organized in shelves inside my bathroom mirrored cabinet. For travel, I have a great organizer with four large zippered pockets: one for brushes, one for everything I use for my eyes, one for foundation, etc, and the last for extras like tweezers, sharpener, etc. It folds onto itself and has a large hook for hanging. The pockets are see-through. It works so well.

You are so funny!! I washed all my brushes this morning and sorted out all my makeup. This has nothing to do with makeup, but on a Sunday I also charge everything, like my smart watch, phones, power bank, etc. Then I'm ready for the week. Thanks for your videos. I enjoy them so much! Much love xx

Loved this video ❤️ i also have a system that goes like so: all cleansing products are kept on the bathroom next to the sink (since I also rinse my face) however the rest of my skincare and make up products are stored in my bedroom as I don’t want them to get affected by humidity and changing temperatures. I have one pouch for special pampering including face masks, peeling, scrub, eye masks etc. And then I have another one including the products I use on a daily basis (which I am thinking to separate in two: one for morning and one for night routine). I also keep separately my nail, body and hair products. This way I never miss a thing! A similar video would be very welcomed 😊

The biggest impact I have found is to create two trays for skincare. AM and PM. These include what I use daily - not masks etc. but essentials like toner, P50, actives, serums, SPF (AM) and cream. They are assembled in the order in which I use them. So it is quick and effective.

I have the Alex desk from Ikea. My make up, face products, accessories etc. is sorted in that, brushes in a jar on top. When I am done I pop a few items for touch up during the day in a small pouch that fits in my purse.

You are so right. When my vision started slipping toward reader's glasses I had to do exactly like you said. Now a fee years later with all the makeup bags I have that open on top..I have now had to go to clear bags that open on top. It was hard to see stuff with the black background. So I went to Amazon to purchase the clear bags that lay flat and open on top. I now enjoy my makeup again!!

Andreea! This video inspired me to clean ALL my makeup related items. I thoroughly cleaned my brushes (Lord knows when the last time I had cleaned them), all my compacts and palettes, my makeup box (it was so gross with years of makeup and who knows what else), and my makeup bag (I had to use 10 Clorox wipes to get ALL the dirt and caked on makeup off the vinyl lining (inside AND out). I was so ashamed at how disgusting I had let my beauty products get. Never again! I love seeing my makeup and my box and bag pristine looking. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Amazing the video, I leave my every day makeup organized in the top of a towel, in the bathroom. And I only put in the makeup bag when I am going to work. The brushes I put in cups, and the beauty blender cup I use to put eye shadow brushes. I also use another cup to store rounded items like concealer, mascara, etc. The glitters and other eyeshadows that I don't use every day go to the drawers. Doing this usually my bag has few items (just powder to reapply during day and lipstick). And I love to buy the travel size makeup and skincare to make easy store all this items and not make a mess. And with travel size items you can have everything in the top of a towel like me :)

Life changing for me has been to get clear acrylic drawer sets that fit under my bathroom sink. I have two that stack and each has 4 drawers. The bottom set has all the over flow stuff like new unopened things, special palettes, sample sizes for travel etc., stuff I don't use often. The top set of drawers are the ones I use everyday. The drawers are different depths so I have one for lips, one for eyes, one for face and one for brushes. Skincare products are on the counter by my sink. I don't carry makeup in my hand bag at all except for lip products unless I'm going to a special event. Lip products can be used in many ways to add life to my face during the day. I use it as blush, on my lips of course and I have even used sheer lip gloss on my eyelids for some pop if I go out after work. I use toilet paper to soak up shine rather than caking powder on my aging skin during the day. I love makeup but I find things that work and stay put and don't need to mess with it all day long.

I have a plastic Caboodle on my desk, I love it because plastic is the easiest thing to clean. In regards of lipsticks, I like to carry one nude to wear at work and one bright in case I am going for happy hour after work. When lipsticks are almost finished I transfer them to a contact lense's case and I can wear them individually or mix the colors and the case also doesnt take so much space

Just watched this, loved it! 🙂 I keep all of the makeup I use daily in a big bag, because I just take it all out, anyway. I use another tool bag with separate little bags inside for different items (e.g. lip liners, lipsticks, eyeliners, eyeshadows, mascaras, implements, etc.) I must admit that I have been “bad” with the brushes and sponges, just throwing them in my daily bag along with the makeup, etc. I guess I need to get a couple different storage things for those. 😊

Mary Kay have amazing bags for cosmetics, there are units for brushes with the covering top, and two separated units for products. I use a smaller one for flat things like eye and brow shadows or blushes, and a bigger one for my mascara, my skintone cream and lipsticks. Highly recommend!

I need to get myself a better pouch for my makeup. I travel often and I take A LOT with me which I don't relly need. My makeup clutter vanished when I have stopped buying new stuff that i saw in yt or insta, and I've declutter all the makeup i did not use. Now I have like 6 eyeshadows, 1 powder, 1 foundation, 1 concealer ecc.. And 4 brushes + 1 sponge. Only the products I really love. And i can still do day and evening makeup. I have quite luxury makeup like Guerlain, Tom Ford, Chanel, but hey, this is why I enjoy doing my makeup each morning. And if I only replace what I used, I can afford it. No clutter, only loved one and onlys, savings in my wallet. Xoxoxo

Dort habe ich auf der Innenseite mehrere „3-Pocket-Organizer“ von real techniques. Ich verstaue alles darin 🖌,auch Lipliner, Eyeliner, meine Lieblings Sheer Lipsticks von Dr. Hauschka.... Zum Trocknen der Pinsel und dem Beauty Blender gibt es etwas ganz tolles von real techniques, auch für den Spiegel. Da kann man sie nach dem reinigen Kopfüber reinhängen. Für eine Make-up Artistin ist es vermutlich zu wenig Stauraum, aber für mich reicht es aus. 😊 Schöne Grüße aus Österreich 🇦🇹!

I used to travel with my makeup in a pouch too, but i was not satisfied with it. I like the one for LV similar to the one you show in the videos but it never available. Until few months ago, i got one from dior, similar shape. It for jewelry but i use it for my travel makeup and it works so well.

Love this ! Thank you ! I have started to use the clear plastic zip bags - the same shape as the one you show in black - but SEE THROUGH! So great. Also there is a brush holder with zip - for travel. When you open it if folds back and turns into a ‘brush stand’ it’s very clever. Love all your tips - You are a true PRO - with a twist! Because you make it fun fun fun! Encore! 👏 👏

I keep my makeup products in a 6 drawer vanity dresser with 3 mirrors. I have my brushes organized on a tray in one drawer, my everyday makeup in another, and so on. When I travel, I have a bag that has 3 sections for my makeup and brushes. Speaking of brushes, have you tried Brush Guards? They are flexible mesh tubes that slide over the bristles of brushes to protect them.

Getting a small vanity table was the best thing ever ! I have 2 acrylic drawer organizers on it , a palette organizer and a led mirror. I know where everything is and it looks cute to look at it too :) (i only keep the makeup i love, the rest goes to my mom or the trash bin...no need to have things i don't use) I really like the tip with cleaning the sponges after brushing your teeth, i will do that in the future.

Yes, i do exact the same like you do. Put skincare and make up in a square box. Put brushes in a zipper plastic bag(because l want the cheapest 🤣🤣🤣) and always squeeze the air out so i can roll it. Put extra accessories in a clear plastic bag. And they always neat..i like it. 😘😘😘

coincidentally, I somehow started using a very similar system! I have a wide pouch so that i can see everything just as I open it, in its deeper part I have the larger products (makeup, powder, bronzer, blush, 2-3 most used lipsticks), on the other side I have pencils, q-tips and 2 small day pallettes (a warmer and a colder one) and in between these two parts there is a place for brushes but it is not ideal so I am thinking about taking brushes out and store them separately. this is however only for day-items, I have a few more brushes, big eyeshadow pallette and a few more lipsticks that stay at home most of the time, but this really works for me! but I am very thankful for the tip about the special pouch for beauty blender and taking the small soaps with me - this will help immensenly! great video and such fun - thank you Andreea, wishing you a great sunday :)

Excellent! And funny too. I can so relate to this I used to hace everything in 1 big bag. Then I bought a set of 3 clear bags (very cheap from Primark) so different things were in different bags. Then it was too much trouble and time opening 3 bags, that like the big open box I bought a pouch with drawstring that opens completely flat so you see all your things laid out ( again from Primark). So lits if options. I really need to get a belt brush organiser. Great stuff. P.D you're right we tebd to but the same things again as we cabt see them i have several concealers 2 exactly the same, lol. In reality though I only use 2 or 3 bits of make up daily but tend to over buy!
