¿ como es la seguridad en Alicante ? Estuve con mi hija hace três semanas en València . Carteristas me robarón la billetera con dinero y tarjeta de identificacion adentro

@@SonhosPodemMudarDestino pues carteristas hay en todos lados. Probablemente la posibilidad es mayor en Valencia por porcentaje de población, que es mucho mayor. Alicante tiene barrios un poco más conflictivos como La Virgen del Remedio, Juan XXIII, donde hay más marginalidad, el resto es bastante seguro.

The weather is typical spring, temperatures reach close to 30. The water is not great for swimming, but it is pleasant on the beach.

the stalls on the explanada are quite disappointing...nothing particularly unique or special...just the same old merchandise as in Chinese shops... improving this would really improve the experience of walking along there for both tourists and locals... why not sell something original, some art, handicrafts, and something authentically spanish or from the Alicante region?

I guess you have a point about that. Unfortunately nowadays almost everywhere you go is like that. Everyone is looking to survive and thinking how to earn some money.

yes, literally everywhere in Mallorca and also Alicante, I am seeing just loads of the same products which are from Chinese wholesalers, which means it´s always the same stuff... @@timelinetravel

The Town Hall wanted to change the placement of those stalls, but there was a lot of pressure and finally they couldn't do anything.

Did they want the explanada to be clear for walking, with no stalls? I think that would be better actually....Who was putting pressure to keep these stalls? They don´t sell anything authentically Spanish in my opinion. @@LC-bb6kn
