Most people forget that Alice Cooper actually has a very good singing voice, we've gotten use to the Alice Cooper that growls at us on stage. This is a very fine cover, and even though it's almost exactly similiar to the Revolver version, I honestly don't think there's much you can do to this song since it's basically just a string arrangement, I'm sure Cooper could have brought in a guitarist to play the part instead, but I think it's a great cover as is.

Im so glad they got Alice to do this. It surprises me, that everyone i've shown this to gets surprised. " I never knew Alice Cooper could sing?" Is the common reaction I get. And im just like. Have you ever heard Only women bleed!?!

I don't know why they decided to use autotune, he doesnt need that really. And McCartney is no Pavarotti, Alice could easily sing any of his old songs even today.

There is very little to no pitch correction on this track. You can clearly hear that he is off pitch at times, and believe me, one who works with pitch correction does not let that slide.

Or Millie and Billie, Every woman has a name, I never cry, and a whole BUTT-LOAD of other soft tunes. Alice is such a good Lyricist-Vocalist-Writer. He once said that when he writes, he sits back watching TV and jots things down during the commercials. Alice was a TV freak back then and watched LOTS of TV. He was hooked on the tube. After only -- TWO HOURS -- of watching TV he has an album written. I heard and SAW this interview with him and this was around 1978 I believe it was. --- TWO --- HOURS --- This is why you see his early days of releasing 1 sometimes 2 albums YEARLY. Let's see just how many of TODAY'S so called "STARS" do that. And be WRITTEN by the "Artist" in question WITHOUT a whole TEAM of Ghost Writers.

This is THE BEST cover on TAoM. His clear diction, how he gives meaning to the lyrics, how he emotes, brilliant, even better than PM's original, well nearly.

Bottom line. Alice is a rock legend. Thats like saying a guy who has been doing something over 30 years and makes millions upon millions doing it doesnt know what hes doing. Perfect cover sounds as incredible as the original. There will always be haters. Alice will be remembered for decades to come

I read an interview with Bobby Dylan from the 70s where he was asked what writers he likes and stated "Alice Cooper is a real good songwriter, very underrated" !!

As a lifetime Beatles fan and a devotee of Sir Paul (yes i have all the single's and B sides)... I have to give this a thumbs up , and what an opportunity for Allice to show of his vocal abilities. To the people who say this or the original can't be topped you really should give the Zoot version a fair listen ;-)

Just heard this cover for the first time a small handful of minutes ago on Alice's radio show. His voice fits the lyrics so well, I wouldn't have recognized it was a cover if I had no knowledge of the original song and he hadn't told people that this was a cover.

Have you ever heard the story about the round bed that Frank Zappa gave Alice? Alice gave it to Paul for his meditation room. Paul didn't want it, but took it to be nice. It's funnier told by Alice.

There's no other artist that could sing this particular Beatles classic than Detroit's own Alice Cooper. He went to my HS when he was known as Vinnie Furnier.

Pretty incredible Alice, all you need is a mic, pop filter, stand, and your good to go. At 40 years old, this is probably as much of as classic to me as it is to you. Kinda cool to geek out and see classics as classics, with people much older than me. Rock on man, keep it up, and I love the wallpaper!!
