Alice is one of the rare few who is still as good at 70 as he was at 25, partly because he has looked 70 for 50 years

I have seen Alice live three times and all three times the execution was different. First time he brought the gallows, second time was with my girlfriend (now my wife) and he brought the guillotine. She was seriously blown away by this man's showmanship and overall performance. Something I already knew :) Been a lifelong fan, would like to see him live just once more.

OMG! I've never seen Alice perform this song. I've asked a lot of Alice fans if they know this song and they don't. So much for being fans. I love you Alice. At 66, I still love you and your songs. Thank you for helping me through some difficult times in my teen years.

@@margiel2614 How old are you? I'm 66 and been listening to Alice since I was about 13. Had his posters all over my room, which my mom hated. I got every album that came out and learned all the words. I've just never seen this performance. I'm not going to argue with you about who is the best Alice fan.

+Albert Elzinga -Well this song didn't help me to forget about my soon to be exhusband at the time -but it did help me to get rid of a lot of the frustration I had locked deep down inside. I know it sounds a bit strange given the lyrics but it was better than destroying something or taking it out on myself. Alice has helped me through many things throughout the years... and because of that his music will always be special to me.

I saw Alice Cooper in Greenville, SC on Halloween. It was the Brutal Planet your. Wow!!!! What a great show. What a great stage presence. Of course he did this song. Memorable show. There was one guy there dressed as Alice and I saw grandparents there with their adult children and their children. Alice Cooper's music has spanned three generations and now almost twenty years later, no doubt a fourth.

I was at this concert as an impressionable 21/22 year old and loved it.. I remember the papers the next day saying "Fans fainted in horror at the concert" I laughed a lot and realised the papers were full of bollocks!
@Stigmatix666Ай бұрын
They really wrote that? Well.. It helps sell the legend, I guess
@Potts1966Ай бұрын
@@Stigmatix666 They honestly really wrote that. In fact I think the quote was "Teenage fans fainted in horror" and if I remember correctly it was in the Daily Mirror. I'm sure Alice lapped it up as brilliant publicity, similarly to when Mary Whitehouse tried to get him banned in the UK. The notoriety made him incredibly successful and I believe he sent her flowers and/or chocolates as a thankyou more than once.
@Stigmatix666Ай бұрын
@@Potts1966 Yeah. Him and Mary go way back haha. Yes, any publicity, bad or good, Alice always uses it for what it's worth. There were also rumors about tons of alleged censored shows in 1988, which of course worked wonders for publicity, but recently surfaced footage of said shows clearly proves they were in fact uncensored and went on without a hitch. I'd say almost half of Alice's "mythology" stems from rumors and bad press making stuff up.
