He's a great actor but he's said he did this movie "straight out of rehab just to see if he can still work" and was "promised nobody would ever see the movie". The movie sucked ass but I think Alice did pretty good and this song is actually pretty good, I like it and I wish he had done a proper studio version and put it on an album. (I also think he should do a studio cover of Born This Way and put that on an album as well.)

Late reply as heck but you know, why Alice isn't of Italian heritage I've discovered that his father surname is Moroni Furnier, now Moroni is a 100% Italian surname, altough may be (but it's strange) his father second name :-)

Came out around the same time as those albums as well as DaDa did. He wasn't really massively musically successful again until the Trash album came out in 1989. The early and mid-80s were really kind of rough for him personally as well as musically.

I bought this movie back in the 90's... & I'm watching it now on ''Comet" TV.. I could have sworn when he did this movie, overseas, he said that he'd do it as long as it was NEVER released in the States... I bought a VHS import and am I wrong or am I thinking of the Movie "Skidoo" that was suppose to NEVER be shown in the states.. It might have been both of them I bought them both around the same time.. cept Skidoo was a bootleg.. I'd put them both under the category of ''B" movies.. but a lotta fun.. both of them.. 3/31/20...

No man, you're totally right! I had this movie back in the early 90s when I was a teenager and totally in love with Alice Cooper. I was a huge fan and collector of his for many years. I got to meet and hang out with him for about a week every year from 1998 to 2002.. one of those times, I brought the VHS of the movie and he autographed it. I remember him having a conversation with me about it, saying it was filmed in Spain, I believe, and that he was told it would never be released in the United States, but now it's in every video store around and it was embarrassing! That's straight from the man himselfs mouth.. So you're totally right!

Has Alice Cooper ever done a box set or album that collects his soundtrack work like this song and the one from Prince of Darkness
@aaronmcmahon74626 жыл бұрын
Alex Stallwitz - Constrictor and Raise Your Fist and Yell have songs of his from Friday the 13th Part 6 and Prince of Darkness, but there is a box set called The Life and Crimes of Alice Cooper which has the Monster Dog songs, as well as the songs for the aforementioned films and his cover of I've Got A Line On You for Iron Eagle 2.

Yes it was on his box set the life and crimes of Alice Cooper.
@RunLikeAVillain5 ай бұрын
@@buckster2575exactly. Not only this and “See me in the mirror” from this movie, but also “I am the Future” from the 1982 move “Class of 1984”… I forget if it’s the same version that’s on “Zipper Catches Skin” or not… but either way, the alternate version exists, if you’re interested. It’s great that this boxset was put out, because the early 80’s period Alice had probably his least-known songs… but most of my favorites he’s ever made

I’ve never been an Alice Cooper fan. When I saw this movie in the ‘80s, I thought it was pretty forgettable except for the songs. I couldn’t place the main actor, knew that I’d seen him before, but couldn’t connect his face with his name. Every time they sang my interest would perk up, then I’d go back to reading my book. Wondered who the good actor and singer was until I saw the credits. I thought this was a good song.

Yeah, I go through an identity crisis all the time !!!! Like I just about own a Chevrolet 5.7 litre V8 powered Holden Commodore & I'd be at my wits end as what to replace that one if nobody does anything about them meaning to build a car to replace that one as it's 15 years old now !!! My point is Holden & Buick have rebadged the Opel Insignia as the Commodore & Regal & there's no V8 option in the German built sedan,only a twin turbo V6 powered car. Now why did General Motors think I wanted a twin turbocharged V6 powered one when I have just about loved driving one of them with Chevrolet V8 power under the bonnet ???? What's worse is I've had trouble with people thinking that I need another car,I mean,I'm finding out that they are the people who wonder why I wouldn't drive a luxury car such as a BMW. I don't even like them & they are never happy with me telling them that !!!!
